The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a decent week. It was a pretty productive week in terms of work. A bookstagram blitz I organized started this week, so I did some work on that as well as my usual assistant work.
This week went pretty okay, but I had a few setbacks later in the week, but once I got through that I was doing better again. I am still hopeful I am doing well to get out of my funk, it’s just slow going. I managed to get out again most days for a walk. Most days I tend to walk through the small park close by and I love seeing all the nature. There are also some sheep in the neighborhood that I like to walk by. They’re so cute! There was a bit of rain again and I went out in the rain a few times, but luckily it didn’t rain too hard. And there was a bit more sun and slightly warmer weather this week, which was nice.
Last Sunday we went out for lunch with most of the family to celebrate my grandma’s 85 birthday. It was fun to see everyone again and catch up, although due to the big table we had I mostly only spoke to a few people.
I finished an ebook and an audiobook this week and already started a new audiobook too. I also started on the Mindfulness and Meditation book I got for review last week. And I played some Islanders and Hidden Folks this week. Both are awesome games, fun and relaxing.
We’re now watching The Orville season 2 and are almost done with that. I really like this series, it’s funny and lighthearted in tone, but also addresses some interesting topics.
What did I read this week?
I finished two cozy mysteries this week. Something Borrowed, Something Mewed was the next book in one of my favorite cozy mystery series and it was awesome. I really liked the mystery and also the other plot lines. There was a great twist at the end. ‘Twas the Knife Before Christmas I listened to on audio just like I did with the first book, it was a great sequel. Solid mystery and fun characters.
What did I cook for dinner this week?

All 3 I got for review through Netgalley. The two cozy mystery books are both series I am following and I kept an eye on Netgalley hoping they the next book would show up and this week they did. I requested them as soon as I spotted the books and got approved for both! Made For You is the second book in the Love and Family series by Anyta Sunday, I just started reading book 1 in the series and noticed book 2 was still up on Netgalley even tough it released earlier this month, so I requested it and got accepted for a copy. I am already curious about Jack’s story even tough he’s only a side character in Taboo For You.
