The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a pretty decent week. Work kept me busy, I had two tours run this week, put three sign-up posts live and sent out two media kits for cover reveals next week. I also decided on something I plan to change for Lola’s Blog Tours next year, so we’ll see how that goes. I also got the graphic from my banner designer for my Christmas Giveaway and I can’t wait to show it off next week :).
Besides that not much special really happened. It was a bit of a tiring week at times, but I did feel productive and got a lot done.
I finished a 5 star read this week, the second book in SJ Pajonas’s series. It was so good! I currently am reading Double Play and Perfect Victim by Kelley Armstrong which is also really good. My other current read is a tad too dark for my tastes, so I have a contemporary romance lined up next.
What did I read this week?
I only finished one book this week, but it was a 5 star read so I still count that as a good reading week :).
What did I cook for dinner this week?
- Sunday: Mashed Potatoes with Onion and carrot
- Monday: Spinach pasta
- Tuesday: Spinach pasta
- Wednesday: Curry Rice
- Thursday: Curry Rice
- Friday: soup with bread
- Saturday: Japanese Curry
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Fantasy of Freedom by Kelly St Clare
– Review: Chaos in Kadoma Ward by SJ Pajonas
– Review: Foul Play by Jordan Ford
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Magic of the Void by Lena Mae Hill
– Review: Shift of Soul and Shadow by Hillary Thompson

Book Haul:
I did pretty well again this week and only got one new book. I really liked the first 3 books about this family, so I am looking forward to this one. And Joanne Rock always writes such good romances.
Freebies I grabbed:
You can stop by my facebook post here to see some freebies and cheap/ discounted book I found last week. Here’s the Facebook post for next week.
It sounds like you had a busy bookish week 🙂
Have a great week ahead!

I did :). I hope this week is a good one.
That’s great about having a decent week of work and reading. Look forward to hearing more about your new tour idea.
Fun that you got a book from an author you love. I had a pretty good book haul week with two review books coming in and two free audios I got during Audible’s promotion. Funny enough, one of the review books and one of the audios was the same story, Anne of Green Gables. LOL
Have a great week, Lola!

It’s actually something I plan to change, not a new tour. It will make sense when I reveal it.
It’s always great when you get a new book from an author you like. Sounds like you got a good haul this week as well.
It sounds like a really good blogging week! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead, and happy reading. 🙂
My Sunday Post
It was. This week was pretty good.
This week was so exhausting! I’m right there with you. And thank you again for your review of Chaos. I really appreciate it. <3

Sorry to hear you had an exhausting week as well. Chaos was so good and I am already looking forward to the next book!
Glad that work has been busy, though I hope not too tiring. I’m looking forward to getting hold of Chaos – I love S.J. Pajonas’s writing:). I hope the coming week is a good one, Lola.
It’s great when work is busy :). I hope you’ll enjoy Chaos! I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve read it.
Glad it was a good week for the blog tours! It was a quiet week here too, sometimes that’s good. 🙂 Glad you had a 5 star read, I don’t know if I’ve had one lately although a few have come close. And Kelley Armstrong- I have more to read from her too. I’ve really liked the ones I have tackled so far.
Hope you have a nice week ahead Lola.

It’s nice it was a good week for tours. I agree sometimes a quiet week is good. It was great to have a 5 star read, they are rare for me too.
Your cover designer is AMAZING! I can’t wait to see what she did with your Giveaway Banner! 😉
Low key weeks are my favorite kind of weeks!
Have a great week, Lola! Happy Reading! ox
She really is amazing :). And I am showing off the awesome giveaway banner in tomorrow’s Sunday post ;).
I’m glad you had a nice week, and I’m curious about your Christmas giveaway. Always fun!! 🙂 I haven’t been reading as much lately because I had a long book to get through, but I finished that, so I hope I can get back on track!

I’ll share the Christmas Giveaway in tomorrow’s Sunday post :).
Those long books can really make you feel like you don’t read a lot, but it’s just because the book you’re reading is so long.
Sounds like you had a good week.

I did 🙂
Spinach pasta, yum. Also I see you like curry, does that include roti?
The spinach pasta is really good. We didn’t roti with this curry, but I do like roti, just don’t eat it that often.
Sounds like a busy but good week! I hope you have a good week this week, too!
This week was a good one too 🙂
Sounds like you had a deliciously busy book week 🙂 I haven’t heard of the author before, but so happy you found a good 5-star read. That’s just the best feeling 🙂 Have a great week, Lola!

It sounds like you ate a lot of yummy stuff. Have a great week!

Looks like you got quite a bit done and accomplished this week. Good for you!!

It was a productive week.
Spinach pasta sounds good, I think I’ll fix that tonight. Last week was crazy for me. I had house repairs that had to be done so a lot of noise from the construction crew then a Fall storm knocked out my internet service.

Let me know it turned out if you decided to make it :). Sorry to hear you had such a crazy week :(.
Yay for exciting new changes and a 5 star read! Funny that you had a 5 star and I had a 4.5 star (the superhero book), both in the same week 🙂

Yes I noticed that too, that we both had a had rated book in the same week :). It’s great when you read a book you enjoy that much.
Aw your Christmas giveaway banner is so cute! I love it.

I agree! I don’t give out a lot of 5 stars, so it’s great when I have a 5 star read :).
