The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week had it’s ups and downs. I got a lot done this week when I am looking back on it, but it didn’t feel as smoothly. Mostly lots of small things or moments where I couldn’t quite get into the flow. I also dealt with some shoulder pain early in the week and again at the moment.
It was a solid week of work. I worked on media kits for two upcoming tours, I Put live a new review opportunity, I did a good amount of hours of assistant work and got the usual email replying done as well.
Food Corner
I made these delicious snickerdoodles with chocolate chips this week. They are so good!
What did I read this week?
I had a solid reading week with 3 books that all got a 4 stars ratings. I had some difficulties getting into Sight Seering, but once the overarching mystery started getting more attention I was hooked. This one had some great twists and turns again. Spell Tamer was another great read in that series, I like the combination of paranormal and mystery and romance. The characters solve crimes with the use of magic and science. All Fired Up is the first book in a spin-off series, I enjoyed the first series and was eager and a bit afraid to start this one. It took me a bit of time to get into it, but then I really enjoyed it. There is suspense and paranormal elements. And the romance is sweet and I am curious to see where that goes.

– Review: White Queen Fiend by Lidiya Foxglove

Thanks, this week was somewhat better at least and my shoulder pain is doing better this week.
Must be the season for snickerdoodles, yours is the third blog to mention them as I’ve been browsing the Sunday memes tonight

What a coincidence you saw snickerdoodles on so many blogs today. They sure were tasty 🙂
The snickerdoodles sound so good. I’m sorry you were dealing with some pain this week.

The snickerdoodles were really good. The shoulder pain is hard to deal with, I just hope in time it gets less.
Glad you got a good week’s worth of work done even though it didn’t feel like a smooth week. Three four-star reads is great. Your snickerdoodles look delicious. I’ll have to try adding chocolate chips next time I bake some.
Have a great week, Lola!

It was a solid week of reading. It’s a shame the week didn’t feel as smoothly. I think the chocolate chips really work great in snickerdoodles 🙂
Well, it looks like you got a lot of reading done this week! That’s great!! Those snickerdoodles look amazing. I could really use some cookies today. Lol.
