The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was again a busy week, I am really hoping for a few more quiet weeks soon. Monday we celebrated easter, my mom and clemens came for an easter brucnh and then in the afternoon we went to my boyfriend’s parents and had dinner there. I’ve been busy with some tours that are starting soon over at Lola’s Blog Tours and have been busy sending out some applications for part time jobs as well.
The good news is that Snickers is doing great and she’s back with the other rats in the cage both day and night and everythign goes fine and her wound looks good.
The other good thing that happened this week was the arrival of my new computer, I spend a whole day gettting it up and running and installing programs I needed, but now it’s working :). There are some things I am getting used to. As my new computer uses windows 8.1 and my old computer had windows xp, so that’s quite a change. I also have a new version of microsoft word so also there are some differences. I also had a small issue with one of the save game files of one of my games, which ended up being installed in a different map then the game was, but eventually I found out where the file was and got my save game data. I am so glad for Steam, which really saves the hassle of having to copy and paste save files as most of the save files can be synched through the program itself. I am really happy with my new computer, it’s so fast! And the computer itself is really small and fits on my desk, which is really handy. And it has a light on the outside that can change colour, it’s so pretty!
So yeah it was another busy week and I still didn’t have any time for blog commenting, beside commenting back. And there haven’t been a staurday non-book content post in a while as I just don’t have time to write them, I do have some great ideas and I am working on a part 2 of the Ten Things You Might Not know about Me post.

I didn’t got any new books this week
you are one very busy lady. I was sick so I didn’t get a chance to do as much this week. A week without books is a chance to catch up.

Sometimes I wish I would get sick, so I would have an excuse to slow down a bit. I hope I find a part time job soon, so at least I won’t have to spend so much time job searching every week. And yeah it’s nice once in a while to not receive any books this week, I already have so many to read.
Very busy week for you! So glad Snickers is better now! So happy everything went well 🙂
I have my fingers crossed I get a new computer for my birthday. My mom said she would get it for me instead of a huge milestone birthday party. I hate parties so I am very happy about that.
Hope things quiet down for you!!! Have a great week!

I am not a big fan of parties either and I agree a new computer would be better then a big party. My mom helped me pay for my new computer and I am really glad for that :), I wouldn’t have been able to buy it on my own.
New computers are awesome once you get settled in with them. I still marvel at how fast my new laptop works!

Indeed! That first day when you get everything up and running is always a lot of work, but after that I was so happy with my new computer. It’s so fast! Or maybe my old computer was just really slow, i would go and set tea when it was starting up.
New computers can be fun and also exhausting…glad you got it all up and running.
Enjoy your new week. Here’s MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES

Indeed, the first day there where so many things I had to install on it, but then when it’s up and running it’s worth it :).
Yay for a new computer. That’s always nice. 🙂 I need to get some games on Steam, I keep seeing things there I want to play but haven’t made time. Glad to hear Snickers is doing better. Hope your week is a good one.

Yeah I love my new computer :). Steam is really handy for games, you basically have most of your games in one place and if you have a new computer you can just install your games from there and steam synchronises your progress, so you don’t have to go copy and pasting your save game files. If you ever decide to join, let me know so I can friend you on steam :).
I am so glad that Snickers is doing well. I hear you on the Widows 8. I got a new laptop in April and boy howdy things work differently. Have an wonderful week Lola!

It just takes some time to get used to, some things i already figured out, but other things just don’t make sense in windows 8. Ah well after some time I probably learn to work with it, it’s not as bad as I first expected.
