The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
Another decent week. Unfortunately we’re still struggling with some lingering symptoms from our covid sickness a few weeks ago. My lingering cough is finally almost gone, but my boyfriend’s cough is still lingering. We’re both still more tired than usual too. I really notice my energy levels being lower than normal and it’s tough to get everything I want done in a day. I feel frustrated that I can’t do the same amount of things as before I got sick, but I’ll try to take it easy where I can. I took another day off this week which helped a bit.
Work wise I worked on a new review opportunity, which is now live. I also did some new tasks for one of my authors and did some of the usual work for my other authors. Some new tours got booked this week, which made me happy as I didn’t have too many open ones at the moment.
What did I read this week?
Reading wise it was a good week. Selah Loves Dante was a sweet and enjoyable romance read with two characters from differing backgrounds who bring out the best in eahc other. I really enjoyed seeing Selah come into her own and the dancing was fun too.
Then I read The Fate of Shin-Osaka which was one of my most anticipated releases of this year and it certainly delivered. I loved this book and struggled to put it down. It’s filled with dangerous missions and the ending is satisfying wrap up for the series.
I also read Pumpkin Carving For Superstitious Witches which was a light and fun romantic read. I really enjoy this series and they are nice short reads to fit in between other reads.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: For a Pixie in Blue by Cecilia Randell
– Review: Shifting Forms for Clumsy Felines by Laura Greenwood
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Stone Wings by Jenn Burke
– Review: Two Against the Stars by Veronica Scott
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Abby’s Pony Love by Susan Count
– Review Opportunity: Lily Makes a Way by Susan Count
– Review Opportunity: Scattered Legacy by Marlene M Bell
– Review Opportunity: Silver Hollow book by Jennifer Silverwood – New!
– Blog Tour: Solitude Lake by Adele Darcy – 28 November till 18 December
– Blog Tour: Copper Waters by Marlene M. Bell – 2 till 15 January
Sure hope your covid symptoms improve this week – seems like you’ve been sick long enough, right??? 🙂 Happy reading and hope you’re feeling normal soon.

It sure feels like I’ve been sick long enough, but so far the tiredness seems to be sticking around for a bit longer unfortunately :(.
Ugh, I really hope your energy improves. I know how hard that is. And thank you for your kind words and the review you posted for The Fate of Shin-Osaka. It was such a tough book to write, but all the struggles were worth it in the end.

I really loved how you wrapped things up with The Fate of Shin-Osaka, it was an awesome read! I really hope my energy improves too, but so far no luck 🙁
I hope it doesn’t linger too much longer.
Me too, I really hope it doesn’t linger much longer.
