The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a tiring week, quite literally. On Sunday our clocks went back an hour for daylight saving and the whole week I’ve felt off, feeling like I was standing up an hour early, even tough I slept a normal amount of hours and stood up at my normal time. I hope next week is a bit better when I finally get used to it hopefully. It’s always so hard to focus when you’re tired, so I struggled with that a bit this week, but still got a surprising amount of work done.
Besides that it was a pretty decent week, some meh moments again and it was quite the busy week, but mostly an okay week. I sent out the media kit for a cover reveal next week. And did as many hours of assistant work as I could fit it as I know there are a few other moments this month when I can work less.
I went out for lunch this week with my mom and sister, we had a great time talking and the food was good. It was a lot of fun.
I didn’t get as much time for myself fit in as I had hoped, but I did get some reading done, made some progress with my audiobook (Sir Kipling’s voice is so funny!) and played some Poly bridge and Outward. I also spent some extra time in the kitchen on Saturday to make one of our favorite dishes: Onion Pie. So all in all I did pretty good.
I made a new risotto recipe this week for my boyfriend, it had mushrooms, bacon, green peas, cheese and black pepper in it. There’s a picture below. I already scheduled a recipe post for it and it will go live on the blog eventually. I’ve been working on more recipe posts lately and have a bunch scheduled at the moment.
What did I read this week?
I finished the novella Four Shifters a Stranger, which was a fun short read that gives a bit of extra background information about the three mages. And then I jumped in my ARC of Demon Magic and a Martini, which was really good. I also finished JC Hay’s story in Pets in Space 3.
What did I cook for dinner this week?
