Recently I was reading the first book in a reworked series, the first book is new, but some of the later books are reworked versions of previously published books. It made me think of how some books get special editions with bonus content nowadays or stories like in anthologies get republished once they’re out of the anthology and then published with some extra content as an expanded edition.
