What happened this week?

I’ve been feeling a bit off and struggling with feeling a bit down and low on energy due my seasonal affective disorder. Luckily we did have a few sunny days which helped a lot. I also had some days where I felt anxious. I did accidentally find out that eating chocolate in the afternoon seems to help a bit with my energy levels in the evening, so I’ll be sticking with that for now.

We’ve been dealing with a strange internet issue that we thought that was resolved on it’s own, but it seems to be back again, but then some days it seems to work just fine. Very weird, we have to make an appointment to look into that.

It’s been quite cold here this week, which is taking some getting used to. I had some nice walks and it’s still looking pretty autumn-y, but a lot of the leaves are starting to fall now.

I found a new ice cream snack that was vegan, glutenfree and Low-FODMAP and they tasted delicious. It’s ice cream covered in some sort of glutenfree dough with some chocolate powder on the outside. So that was a nice find. I did get some symptoms for a dish I made, but can’t seem to figure out what ingredient is the cause.

Thanks for another blogger I realized the plugin I was using for sending comment replies had been deactivated for a while already as it is no longer getting updated. So that explains why that wasn’t working anymore. I looked into an alternative and I found one and installed it. The checkbox for getting replies to your comment is now showing up, but sadly I don’t think the emails with the replies don’t show up. So I have to dig into that a bit more to see what’s causing that issue.
