The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was a bit of a weird one. I felt mentally okay mostly, but this diminished the further in the week we got. There were so many little things that just didn’t go quite right. Then I got a nasty bad headache and muscle pain that lasted for 3 days, which made me feel miserable. We cleaned the inside of my boyfriend’s computer from dust, but our de-duster tool ran out of battery power halfway through, so that was annoying. My boyfriend also had a dentist appointment this week. It just didn’t really feel like a smooth week.
And we think we might have a mouse in the house as we weird some weird noise and I thought I saw something running past one night. We’re going to investigate more today as we didn’t see any signs in our house, except the weird sounds from a small storage room we have next to our living room, so we think it might be holed up there.
It’s really starting to feel like autumn here with all the wind and rain we’ve been having and a lot of trees are changing colors already or losing their leaves. Autumn is one of my favorite season and this summer was so warm, that I am extra happy with the cooler weather.
Made a bit of progress with my gut issues. I used less red bell pepper in my dishes and noticed that the enzymes are then enough to take care of most of the symptoms. I did get some additional gut symptoms while I was havign a headache as any type of stress or me not feeling good seems to make my gut issues worse too.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: The Sunday Table by Lila Blake
– Review: Sorcerous Plates by Tao Wong
– Review: Justice is an Illusion by Laura Greenwood
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Succulents and Spells by Andi R. Christopher
– Review: Magician’s Hoard by Celia Lake
– Review: The Coffee House Witch & The First Date by Ariana Jade

Sorry to hear that it was such a lumpy week and that your health is also not where it should be. I hope the coming week is a much better one. I suppose the rain is a good thing and less heat – but we’ve also had storm-force winds which tend to dry everything out and are causing the leaves to fall far too soon. As for the mouse… I hate it when they decide to move in! They make such a mess – I hope you find it soon and evict it.
The leaves are falling very early here too, which is weird to see as it feels like fall with the leaves falling, but then a lot of the trees still look fully green too. The rain is a good thing to combat the drought at least. I really hope we can find the mouse soon, so far no luck with the traps we set.
I totally get the up and down feelings. I’m jealous that you’re at least starting to get some fall like weather. We seem to be getting more summer weather! I know I have mice in my attic/garage. And until my stepdad fixed a few spots in my kitchen where there were holes going to the inside walls of the house, I know I had mice inside at one time. Don’t know if they still get in, but once in a while the dogs will go sniff a certain spot in the house for no reason, and I wonder. Ugh. Hope this week is a better one for you!

We had two warm days this week, but now it’s back to rain and windy weather. I am just happy we’re finally done with the warm weather. Hopefully it cools down where you live soon. I know mice can transmit diseases, so I am worried about that and it just feels very worrisome and gross having them in the house.
I felt like last week just had so much going on, I couldn’t really enjoy it. I hope there are no mice – they can be annoying to get rid of! Seems like the weather is changing here too and I’m excited about it.
It’s a shame when that happens and you have so much going on. We found droppings, so we definitely have a mouse. So stressed about that and hope we can trap the mouse soon and then release it far away from the house.
We had mice after our windows were replaced for a couple days until we trapped them. There were mice in the garage of the house we rented (but not in the house) so I had the supplies for trapping them. yes we kill them. You can tell for sure if he you see their poop it looks kind of like wild rice. Good luck. I’ve always wanted to read Tao Wang as the books have food aspects. I hope this week is smoother.

Sorry you had to deal with the hassle of having mice too, glad you got rid of them. We did find their droppings, so we’re working on resolving it now. I can definitely recommend that Tao Wong series, the food aspect is really well done.
The mouse just wants to be friends. lol Feed him cookies.
Sorry you were not feeling good.
We made some nice biscuits with peanut butter and hazelnut paste for the mouse in the mouse friendly traps we got, but it wasn’t interested. Guess they didn’t like that we removed it’s all-you-can-eat-buffet that was in the room.
