The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was a bit of a calmer one. My boyfriend and I had a nice walk on Tuesday at a nearby piece of nature we hadn’t been before, which was nice. It wasn’t too hot yet and the weather was pleasant. We had a great time discovering this new to our nature place and it was very peaceful with lots of birds. Then after that the weather got slowly warmer and we had some really hot days. I don’t deal well with the warm weather, so that was rough. I overheated one day when I was out for some errands and didn’t realize I had gotten way too warm, it took some time to recover from that.
Besides that I did some assistant work for two of the authors I work for. I called my boyfriend’s mom to catch up with her. I had a lunch planned with my mom and sibling next week, but we decided to change that to an earlier time on the day and a walk in nature as it is planned to get very hot again next week.
What did I read this week?
Careless Whiskers was great, but Tragedy in Tahoe was a DNF. A Demon Chef’s Recipe For Tasty Tapas was a great food themed story. And Murder by Mystery was an engaging cozy mystery in space. I also read three extra’s by Celia Lake Tea & Meetings, With All Due Speed and 12 Seconds in 1927 that need to be read after Eclipse. It was great to spend more time with the characters.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Live and Galette Die by Gretchen Rue
– Review: Tea with Elephants by Robin Jones Gunn
– Review: Locked in Magic
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: A Sprinkle in Time by Dana Menthink
– Review: Lost in France by Claire Ross Dunn
– Review: The Thrifty Fae And The Repair Shop by Ariana Jade

Lots of good books here. I need to get caught up on reviews still. Had some not so good days last week for time to check blogs and comment. I am not a fan of the heat either. Hope this week is better for you!

We got even warmer weather this week, so that was even worse sadly.
So nice your week was more settled and you got out on a beautiful walk and got some work in spite of the heat. Hopefully you’ll have a good outing with your mom and sibling.
Way to go on all the books you finished or set aside as finished for this week. I want to read that Murder by Memory, too.
Have a good week, Lola!
I am glad we got that walk in before it got too warm. The outing with my mom and sibling this week was fun too. I think you’ll enjoy Murder by Memory, I really enjoyed it.
Sounds like you found a nice place to walk. Hopefully the heat doesn’t get to you too bad. It’s really hot here right now too.
This was a place we didn’t know yet, we’ll definitely plan to go back there.
It sounds like a good week other than the heat. I don’t like the heat either. I loved Murder by Memory. I’m excited about the new Annette Marie but probably will do the audio version which is out later in the year.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I really liked Murder by Memory and hope to get to the next book in the series soon. I hope you’ll enjoy the latest Annette Marie book once it’s in audio.
The Olivia Waite series is on my wishlist.
Thanks for sharing your week, stay cool and happy reading!
I really liked the first Olivia Waite book and already bought the second one as well. I hope you enjoy if you get around to them.
