The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was a tough one. I started the week with a migraine and my left shoulder was hurting badly, this sometimes happens and I am still not fully sure why. When that was finally over, I had like half a day of feeling okay and then the next day my other shoulder started hurting. That took another day or two to resolve, before I felt good again. Glad I finally felt better after that and then my period migraine hit, luckily it wasn’t too bad besides the brainfog, but it was a lot of not feeling well physically this week.
I continued figuring out what I can and can’t eat to reduce my symptoms. Its going well so far. This week I tried eating fennel for the first time as an onion substitute as I can’t eat onion for now. I think the Fennel doesn’t taste like onion at all, but the texture is a bit similar and it is an easy way to add some veggies to dishes, so all in all a win. I also added some chives to a mashed potatoes dish which worked well and did gave it a bit of onion flavor, so will be using that more. I also found out that for some reason eating anything oily in the evenings upset my gut, no clue why, but for now I am determined to avoid that. I realized the oat crackers I was eating contained some apple and was causing symptoms. So I found a new brand of glutenfree lactosefree crackers that doesn’t upset my gut.

It’s good you’re figuring out what the problem foods are and can cut them out.
It can be so hard to find what works to eat. My daughter and I have some different tastes which adds to the struggle. I hope this week is a better one for you!
