The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was another tough one. After taking some antibiotics for an infected toe last week I’ve been dealing with the aftermath of that this week. I’ve been tired a lot, slept more and even took naps multiple days. I also had some stomach pain that hang around for a while, but that slowly got less and is gone now. It was tough to keep up with the usual chores as I didn’t feel like doing anything.
On Tuesday some maintenance people stopped by to clean the mechanical ventilation ducts, that was disruptive, but luckily it was done very quickly.
Later in the week we made some progress on the mosquito netting. We ordered one online, we didn’t want to spend money on buying three of them so we decided to try one first. For the other windows I used a set we got from one of neighbors to install a mosquito netting with some velcro and some leftover strips I used for another windows. Not sure how long that will stay in pace as it didn’t seem too sturdy, but we’ll see. It’s something at least for now.
I haven’t really been able to do much blogging or visiting other blogs. I’ve been doing my best to keep up with writing review,s but that’s about it. I hope I can get more visiting done again soon.
Work wise I got a few things done, I made a few different editions of books I already had formatted and I did some prooflistening as well.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Star Cruise Captain’s Prequel by Veronica Scott
– Review: Star Cruise Captain’s Story by Veronica Scott
– Review: Winter Tales From Cozy Vales 2
– Review: The Tea Witch’s Promise by Laura Greenwood and Arizona Tape
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Star Cruise Chef’s Kiss by Veronica Scott
– Review: Scone Cold Dead by Maddie Day
– Review: Matchmaking with Cupid by Laura Greenwood
– Review: The Coharie Beach Café 5 by Casey Dawes
Sorry you didn’t feel great this past week! I had a bit of an issue with a weird sunburn at the end of my trip last week too. I’ve got my fingers crossed that you won’t have that mosquito issue again, but I think you’re smart to get prepared early! I also feel behind on visiting blogs with so much going on it seems right now, and when I am home I just want to snuggle on the couch with the dogs. I hope this is a better week for you!

I have to visit your blog and read about your trip, sorry I haven’t stopped by in a while. I hope the mosquito netting will help keep them out. Lats year they came form inside the building and our netting didn’t help there, so let’s hope we won’t have that problem again.
I hope you feel better this week. Sophia has me wanting to read the Veronica Scott books too.

I can definitely recommend the Veronica Scott books, they are fun.
Glad you’re slowly recovering from that toe infection and found some quick mosquito netting covers to work until you get better ones. Hopefully next week will go better, Lola!
I hope the toe continues to improve and hopefully the netting will keep the mosquitos out.
I hope you feel better this week. Hopefully the mosquito netting will help keep them out.
Thanks! I hope the netting will keep them out going forward.
