The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was again a pretty tiring and at times stressful week. We visited my boyfriend’s parents and it was fun to catch up, although I was tired afterwards. Then later in the week my boyfriend tried yet another medication and again got concerning side effects and this one worked less well too. It’s been difficult finding a medication that works well for him without severe side effects.
We also visited a historical themed medieval festival nearby which was fun, we timed our arrival pretty well, but after we had been there for a while it became quite crowded as the festival wasn’t as big.
Work wise I had a tour run this week that I organized and did some work for upcoming tours. I also got some assistant work done.
What did I read this week?
I also read We’re all Neurodiverse.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Once a Rogue by Allie Therin
– Review: Party Hats For Sweet Minotaurs by Laura Greenwood
– Review: Succulents and Spells by Andi C. Buchanan
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Board to Death by C.J. Connor
– Review: Magic Dark, Magic Divine by A.J. Locke
– Review: Live and Let Chai by Bree Baker
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Brave Women at Work Lessons in Confidence
– Review Opportunity: Brooke’s Win-Win Pony by Susan Count
– Review Opportunity: Adventures of Takuan from Koto by Ryu Zhong
– Book Blitz: Burning Secret by RJ Lloyd – 2 till 7 October
– Blog Tour: The Jade Labyrinth by Alanna Mackenzie – 2 till 15 October

Thanks! It’s been a struggle with his medication, we might have found something that works for him now, just waiting to see if it keeps working.
Sorry to hear the medication wasn’t working for him. I hope they can find something for him soon.
I do like to go early to those kind of festivals so when the crowd starts to roll in, we are getting ready to leave.
I hope this week is awesome for you, Lola! Happy Reading! xx

I think he finally found sometime that worked for him medication wise, at least this week it went well, so hopefully it continues to work. It’s been difficult finding what works for him.
I am glad we arrived relatively early at the festival as it got busy quite quickly sadly.
What a shame the side effects are such a problem for your boyfriend. I do hope they find an alternative the suits him better, soon. It surely doesn’t help your tiredness and stress levels to know he is struggling healthwise:(. Glad you had a nice time with his parents and hope that the coming week is a better one, Lola.
It really has been a struggle, he finally found something this week that seems to work for now, so fingers crossed it keeps workign this way without side effects. It has been a tiring and stressful few weeks for sure.
Sorry to hear that your boyfriend is still having side effects from the medication. Hopefully they can find something that he can take.

It’s been really tough to figure out which medication works well for him. I think this week he finally found something that worked, fingers crossed it stays that way.
I’m sorry to hear about your boyfriend’s continued issues with medication. It can be such a roll of the dice to get stuff that works properly!
