sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What happened this week?

This was a pretty decent week. I am still a bit low on energy, but I found a good balance between work and relaxing. I added an extra short break to my daily schedule for now and that seems to work. I felt better this week than the previous ones and got more done, so it seems to be working for now.

It was a good week for work. I put a new review opportunity live on my site and am working on another blog tour that I hope to have live next week. I also sent out the media kit for a tour starting next week and did some work for my other tours and the usual replying to emails. I also got a good amount of assistant work done and one of my authors has some extra work for me going forward, which is great news!

What did I read this week?

Crimson MageFight or FlyA Twist of FateSilent Flyght

Reading wise this was a good week too, with 4 books I finished that all got a 4 stars rating. Crimson Mage was an exciting fast paced first book in a series with plenty of action.
Fight or Fly was the second book in this steamy omegaverse series and I really enjoyed it. the romance between these 5 characters is so sweet and I really liked to see how their bonds deepened. It also has some interesting twists and turns plot wise and I cna’t wait for the third book!
A Twist of Fate was the second book in this time travel series and follows a different main character. I liked Rosalind and seeing how she found her way back to the past to her son and husband after she got stuck in the future. There is a mystery and haunting as well.
Then I also finished listening to my audiobook Silent Flyght. I really am enjoying my re-read of this series and I enjoyed re-reading this one. This book is a bit of a tough one at times with what Vivian goes through, but it also has some great moments, like seeing her romance with Mat develop. I already started listening to the sixth and last book.

This week I blogged about:

Review: Pretend to Be My Cowboy by Sophia Quinn
Review: Bound to Execute by A.C.F. Bookens

  1. Finding some balance sounds really good to me. I am back at work tomorrow and I hope to also find some good balance this year. Really want to spend more time just for myself.

You are constantly reinventing your blog and the tours and everything. I love it! Always so nice to pay a visit here.

Have a good week and take care of yourself!

    • I hope going back to work goes well and that you can find some good balance. That really is the hardest thing sometimes to make enough time for yourself and balance things well.

Thanks for visiting! I always appreciate it when you stop by 🙂

    • I am really enjoying my re-read of the Flyght series! I really should do re-reads more often as it’s so much fun to return to a series I love. And being able to listen to it now instead it nice, so the experience is still different. There are so many things I forgot and are fun to re-experience. And I like spotting some of the foreshadowing.

I already re-read your Hikoboshi series and now Flyght, guess next upis the Nogiku series ;). I haven’t re-read that one yet.

    • I know it always feels so counterintuitive. Even with the low energy I have, the time I spent working is pretty productive as I am less distracted thanks to breaks.
