The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a solid week, but quite busy with work. I am all used to my new glasses for the most part, although I still forget to put them on sometimes. I think I finally found a site I can use for listening and buying audiobooks and I hope to try that out soon.
One of the authors I work for had a new release this week which took some extra work and it was exciting to see some of the work of the previous months pay off. I also did some work for my other authors and I had plenty of tour work as well. I put a new review opportunity live and a blog tour. I am working on two future tours as well, that I hope to have live next week. I also sent out two media kits for tours starting next week and did the usual email work.
I haven’t been able to as much blogging lately and I hope I can get back to visiting blogs and commenting soon. It’s just been too busy lately, which is a good problem to have as I am happy with the work, but it can be tough to make the time for blogging. I am still writing reviews and scheduling them on my blog, so the content will keep going on. And I try to do some visiting when I can.
What did I read this week?
The Hand Off was another great read in this series. I liked the romance and seeing them deal with things. A Gilded Cage was an okay listen. I really liked the narrator and that was what made me finish this one probably. The story was okay, but lacked direction at times and the main character felt a bit like the typical snarky Urban Fantasy character.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Publishable by Death by A.C.F. Bookens
– Review: The Red Zone by Jordan Ford
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Silver Dawn Afire by Sonja J Breckon
– Review: Unwanted Appeal by Kaje Harper
– Lola’s Kitchen: Oat Cookies with Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Pecans Recipe

Whew, yes, you did have a lot of work to keep you hopping, but, as you say, that is a great problem to have. No worries about visiting- whenever you can stop by, but never feel pressured to do so. Glad the Jordan Ford series continues to be a good one.
Have a good week, Lola!
It definitely is a great problem to have. And especially after the few less good months I had this year, it’s so good to be busy. I just try and visit when I can and try not to worry about it, but it sometimes makes me feel bad. Especially as you all continue to visit my blog and I really appreciate that :).
Hi there Lola! Yea for new glasses! Just remember to wear them yes.
I will keep an eye out for that cookie recipe. It sounds delicious!
I have migrated to WordPress, if you have a minute to spare – check out the new site! I will take a look at your new books available!
Have a good week.

I definitely still have to reminder myself to put my glasses on sometimes, but they really are great.
The cookie recipe is a good one 🙂
That’s great your move to wordpress went well. I’ll stop by and visit soon.
You just have to do what you can. Nobody can do everything all the time. I’m glad you are getting lots of good work.

Thanks! It sure is true that you have to do what you can and that at times some things aren’t possible.
Sounds like a busy week! Sometimes I wish I could be an author’s PA or assistant. But oh well. I already need to spend time on my own novels I’m trying to write. Hope that you have a good week!

I like being an author’s assistant. That’s great you’re writing your own novels.
It can be so hard to keep up with visiting and commenting. I miss it when I don’t do it for a while, but takes so much time. Glad things are going well.

Same here, I miss it when I don’t visit, but it does take a lot of time.
Being busy is good but I get behind in my commenting too sometimes.

I am glad it was a good week 🙂
Lately I’ve had to break up commenting into daily blocks, and just as I get to the end I have to start again.
Wishing you a great reading week

I tried breaking it up, but for some reason doing it all in one go seems to work better for me usually.
I think we all struggle to keep up with commenting and visiting – I know I do! There’s just so much to do and not enough time. But being busy a good thing, so I can’t complain! I hope things continue to go well for you this week 🙂

Thanks! I certainly feel it’s a common struggle keeping up with commenting and visiting. I am also glad I am being busy with work.
