The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a tiring week. This week was somehow really full and mentally taxing. We did some cleaning around the house, we have so much stuff and mess and it’s hard to work through it. It just makes me sad knowing how much we still have to do, but at least we got some places cleaned out.
My mom stopped by shortly for a visit this week and we talked outside with our masks on. My boyfriend still doesn’t have any luck with the job searching and it’s really starting to weigh us down as it’s such a tough process to find something good and actually get through to the interview round. I hope he finds something soon as job searching just is the worst.
The weather was cooler this week which was a nice change from the few warm weeks we had. We also got some rain, which the plants probably needed.
And I got my first covid-19 vaccine shot yesterday. Yay! The vaccination location was well organized and the whole process went smoothly. I hope I don’t suffer any side effects, so far I just have a sore and painful upper arm, but that’s about it for now.
Work wise it was a solid week. Two tours I organized are taking place this week. I also worked on some assistant work. And I put live a new blog post on Lola’s Blog Tours about arc teams.
What did I read this week?
Unacceptable Risk and Cursed Luck were both great reads.

Congrats on getting your first vaccination shot. I didn’t have really anything other than a sore arm and maybe a little tired the night I got the shot for either of them. So I hope it is that good for you as well. Hope things go well for you this week.

I felt a little bit feverish the first night and had a sore and painful arm, but that’s about it. I am glad I have my first shot, now waiting till I can get the second one next month.
Yay for your vaccine! I hope you don’t have any big side effects. We got lazy about picking things up and putting them away between Covid and when I hurt my back / hip. Now it’s a chore to get things back in shape. I hope your boyfriend finds a great job soon. I really enjoyed Cursed Luck.

I am so glad I got the first vaccine :). I didn’t have any big side effects either luckily.
As for the cleaning, we got a lot of stuff when we moved here due to circumstances and it just piled up and now it’s a pain to get in shape.
I hope my boyfriend can find a good job soon.
Cursed Luck was awesome!
Glad your week was mostly good and you got to visit with your mom. When I deep clean rooms, I always feel like I’m making little progress at first before it starts to look much better . Hopefully something will come up soon job-wise for your boyfriend b/c, yes, that is terribly stressful jobhunting. Cool that you got an author post up and had a good reading week.
Have a good week, Lola!

I hope eventually it will feel like we’re making better progress. Jobhunting is so stressful, I really hope he can find something good soon.
I’m glad you were able to get the vaccine. I didn’t have any side effects from mine. I hope you don’t either. I hope your boyfriend is able to find a job soon.

I didn’t have many side effects either, just my arm that was sore and painful for a bit.
Congrats on getting your first shot. I felt so much more peace of mind once we started getting vaccinated – just waiting for 2 year old shots!!
I hope the job search improves for your boyfriend… Searching is so exhausting. Truly the worst.
Have a great week!!

I am happy I got my first shot, now’s it’s just waiting till I can go for the second shot before I really feel more safe probably.
I agree job searching is the worst. I hope he can find something good soon.
Glad to hear you’ve had your first vaccine shot. I had a sore arm with the first, and that’s it. The second one wasn’t too bad, mainly tired with a light fever. Job searching is tough. I hope your boyfriend finds the perfect fit soon. Have a great week.
Here’s my SUNDAY POST this week. — Diana
Thanks! I am glad I got my first shot. I had a sore arm and felt a tad feverish the first night and that was it. We’ll see how it goes with the second one.
I really hope my boyfriend can find the perfect job soon, it’s been tiring this job search.
I’m sorry to hear your boyfriend is still looking for a job. That’s the worst. I hope he finds something soon. I’m so glad you got the vaccine though! That’s excellent news!
