sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What happened this week?

This week was slightly better than the previous ones. My mood has been a bit better than the past few weeks, so that’s nice. Still a few not so fun things I had to deal with this week unfortunately.

Our clocks went an hour forward last weekend, so this week was a bit tough sleep wise while adjusting to the new time. I think I am almost used to it by now luckily. We also had some nice sunny days, which really helped. And things are starting to look greener here with trees getting new leaves again.

Work wise it was a pretty decent week. I got a new author for assistant work and I made a start on that work this week. As well as work for my usual authors. I wrapped up last months work and made a start on April’s work. I had a tour running that I did some work for as well.

I also put live a new blog post for authors. I am really excited to see more of these posts on my site and slowly seeing this plan of having multiple informative posts on my website come together. I also started interlinking between the posts as I am hoping to make it so people can easily find related posts if they want to read more about a topic. Ofcourse I only have three posts live so far and they’re all about blog tours, so every posts just links to the other two at the moment, but it’s a start :).

What did I read this week?

The Rise of Shiroi NamiThe Protector

The Rise of Shiroi Nami was amazing! I think this is my first 5 star read of the year. I loved this book, there is so much going on and I liked seeing Yumi really stand up and fight for what she believed in and seeing her and Rin fight side by side was awesome. The Protector was a great read and my favorite in this series so far! It had two great main characters, a sweet romance and some suspense.

Crash Land on Kurai is FREE!

Crash Land on Kurai
So after just raving to you about how awesome book 4 (The Rise of Shiroi Nami) was, I have some exciting news for you. Book 1 in the series Crash land on Kurai is currently free. If you like science fiction romance books, don’t miss this one. I love this series and even re-read the first three books last year (which I rarely do) and each book got a 5 star rating.

This week I blogged about:

Review: Elemental by Whitney Hill
Lola’s Kitchen: Snickerdoodles with Chocolate Chips Recipe

  1. Sorry to hear that you have been struggling – and I hope the coming week is a good one. I have a copy of Crash Land Kurai loaded on my Kindle and I must get around to reading it! I am reading a lot of space opera at the moment…

  2. Glad for the better week and the return of sunshine and everything turning green. Yay for a new author signed up and it sounds like you offer a lot with the author blog.
Glad your latest was a five-star. Love those.

Have a great week, Lola, and Happy Easter if you celebrate.

    • I hope the blog for authors will be helpful for authors. Hopefully once I publish a few more posts it really starts to come together. I am so glad I had a 5 star read this week.

    • Thank you! Some of the things I had to deal with got resolved this week luckily. Thanks for signing up for a few review opportunities, I really appreciate it!

  3. I’m so glad your week went well. It is definitely nice to see the world exploding with more green and flowers. (Though my allergies are not behaving! I don’t care though because I love when it’s warm.) Thank you for mentioning CRASH LAND ON KURAI and I’m so glad you enjoyed THE RISE OF SHIROI NAMI.

  4. I’ve been in an okay mood until this week has started off not so great. But glad you are getting to feeling better! Once in a while I think I’d love to be an author’s assistant. But then I want to finish my own books, and then I want to just read every book I can find! lol. Hope you have a good week!
