My To-Be Read List is a meme hosted by Because Reading is Better Than Real Life where at the beginning of the month visitors can choose which book I’ll be reading this month. On the first saturday of a month the poll will be up, then on the second saturday of the month I’ll announce the book that won and on the last saturday of the month I’ll post my review of the book.
Okay below are are the 3 books on which you can vote this month, all 3 are romantic suspense books as I am in the mood for that genre. All books are the second or third book in the series. And an interesting tidbit is that for two of these books, an earlier book in the series has won this poll once. In the case of the Burying Water series both the first and second book have won this poll once.

Armed with two years’ worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn’t let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.
Maybe it’s because he saved her life, or maybe it’s because he’s completely different from everything she’s left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.
And River isn’t the kind of guy she’d want to catch.

Blurb:
Ella Ingraham makes up stories for a living, and even she has a hard time believing the turn her love life has taken.Hot guy? Cue Josh Devereaux.
Even hotter night together? Hello kitchen counter.
Morning-after phone call to Josh from her ex? Um, what? The truth about who Josh is and what he’s done are on the other end of that phone. He knows he lied. He also knows that isn’t the worst of it. It isn’t even that Ella’s ex thinks Josh is the right man to help destroy her. Again. The worst part is the way Ella looks at him now. Or doesn’t.
Ella isn’t sure what the worst part is – Josh lying to her about his past, or the fact she can’t stop thinking about him anyway. Not that he’s making it easy for her, with his idea to stop her ex’s slander campaigns against her before her next big book release. Even Ella has to admit it’s a better plan than she – or her lawyer – have come up with. But for the plan to work, Ella has to not only rely on Josh, but trust him. Implicitly.
Ella knows she’d be a fool to trust him a second time. So why does her heart keep trying to convince her otherwise?

Now it’s time to vote!
oh all three sound good. But I have a weakness for shifter romances…and dolphins (that is so rare)
I also have a weakness for shifter romances and I am quite enjoying this series so far and I am really curious about this one as the main character is the doctor which was mentioned in both the previous books.

I’ve read the first two books in this series and I keep coming back for mroe even though they don’t wow me, they do keep my attention. The dolphin shifter aspect is greta, although I had wished they did more with it. It’s a minor part of the books so far.

The dolphin shifter aspect is fun, even though in the first two books it wasn’t a big part of the story.

I voted for Chasing River. The blurb really appealed to me, so if you don’t read it, I probably will!
Oh I will read it eventually, this poll is just to determine which book I will at least read this month. I have read the first two books in the series already and really enjoyed it and I have the third and fourth books waiting on my shelf to be read.
Tucker!
I sucked and wasn’t able to do my plan binge-read for the series. I’ll read vicariously through you for now.

Well, this is a tough choice. I love romantic suspense. I know the first one is good after reading your series reviews. But something about the middle choice is tugging at me. Hmmm…
I am still finding my way in the genre, but so far my experience have been very good. I am pretty sure I will enjoy all three of these as I enjoyed the earlier books in these series.
The first Truth series book ended in a cliffhanger, so I am really curious how things continue in this book.

I went with Dangerous Tide, mainly cause I’ve seen it other places and it has me super intrigued!

I’ve read the first two books in the series and it’s a good series so far. It’s just a shame there isn’t as much focus on the dolphin aspect as I had hoped, but it keeps my attention.
I had to pick the shifters because I want to hear more about dolphin shifters.

The dolphin shifters are such an unique concept, you don’t see many dolphin shifter books out there.
I, of course, went with Tucker, Lola. I know you’ll probably enjoy Dangerous Tide and maybe even Truths We Tell…but I felt like you’d really enjoy Chasing River and you should get a a read you’re almost guaranteed to love for the last tbr book of the year! 😉
