My To-Be Read List is a meme hosted by Because Reading is Better Than Real Life where at the beginning of the month visitors can choose which book I’ll be reading this month. On the first saturday of a month the poll will be up, then on the second saturday of the month I’ll announce the book that won and on the last saturday of the month I’ll post my review of the book.

This month it wasn’t really a battle, Chasign River easily got ahead and stayed there.

Here’s the total amount of votes and percentage they got:
– Chasing River (Burying Water #3) by K.A. Tucker – 13 votes/ 61,90%
– Truths We Tell (The Truth Series #2) by Brenda St. John Brown – 1 vote/ 4,76%
– Dangerous Tide (Dolphin Shore Shifters #3) by C.J. Matthew – 7 votes/ 33,33%

Blurb:
Armed with two years’ worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.

Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn’t let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.

Maybe it’s because he saved her life, or maybe it’s because he’s completely different from everything she’s left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.

And River isn’t the kind of guy she’d want to catch.

  1. I’ve heard so many amazing things about K.A. Tucker! I just bought Ten Tiny Breaths and Five Ways to Fall by her, but have to wait until Christmas to open them. I hope you like this one! I’ve been wanting to get more into new adult, and it seems like K.A. Tucker is a much loved author. Also, thank you for following my blog! That was so sweet of you. 🙂

    • You’re welcome :). I’ve heard good things about Ten Tiny Bearths! I hope you’ll enjoy it. It took me a long time to finally pick up her Buryign Water series, but I am really enjoying it. I like how she writes NA, not too much drama, but a great romance and story. I might have to check out her other books after I finished this series.
