Posted April 20, 2018 by Lola in Lola's Kitchen / 12 Comments

Lola’s Kitchen is a feature on Lola’s Reviews where I talk about all things related to food, cooking and baking. These posts can be recipe posts, tens list posts about food or recipes or more discussion type posts about food. I love cooking and spend some time in the kitchen almost every day, so I wanted to give it a place on my blog as well. The banner for this feature is designed by Michelle from Limabean Designs.

These cookies are so good! They have the perfect blend of coconut and chocolate, combined in one yummy cookie! I was in the mood for something with chocolate and coconut and figured I would see if Pinterest had a recipe for that and stumbled upon this recipe and decided to give it a try and it turned out so well!

This recipe is based on Half Scartched’s Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies

    • I am glad to hear you like the new layout. I am really happy with the new alpaca logo.

If you like both chocolate and coconut, you probably will like these cookies :).

    • Same here, it’s so handy you can easily find a recipe on Pinterest for what you’re looking for. Yes dried fruit or nuts would work in these perfectly as well.

    • Yeah if you don’t like coconut, these probably wouldn’t be the cookies for you. The coconut flavor comes through quite well in these cookies.

That does sound unique to have pomegranate chocolate chip cookies. I don’t usually add fruit to my cookies, but now I am kinda curious how that tastes. Although I haven’t eaten pomegranate often, I do think I like it.
