Today is the cover reveal for The Duality Bridge by Susan Kaye Quinn. This cover reveal is organized by Lola’s Blog Tours.
The Duality Bridge (Singularity #2)
By Susan Kaye Quinn
Genre: Science Fiction
Age category: Young Adult
Release Date: later summer 2015
My Cover review:
I loved the cover for ths first book, but I might lvoe this one even more. It has the same style and feel as the first book, clearly marking them as being in the same series. Then there are the colours and the two sides of the cover which clearly divide the cover in two, with the model in the middle.
The cover fits the title of the book with the two sides and the model being the bridge I think. The left side displaying the human side in brown and with a city. Then the right side displays the robot/ ascender side, with the molecules and DNA strand and the pale blue colour. I lvoe how these two sides form a contrast and then have the model in the middle, caught betwene the two sides or maybe beign part of both sides.
Then it’s also pretty clear what genre this book is, it pretty much screams sci-fi, but with a human touch. And that’s pretty much what this series embodies.
To conclude: I lvoe this cover, I love the feel of the cover and the overplay with the lines. I love the colours used and how it matches the cover of the first book. I like the two sides of the cover and how good it matches the series. I can’t wait to read this book, the cover has me even more curious about this book.

First book in the series:
The Legacy Human (Singularity #1)
By Susan Kaye Quinn
Genre: Science Fiction
Age category: Young Adult
Release Date: March 2, 2015
Blurb:
What would you give to live forever?Seventeen-year-old Elijah Brighton wants to become an ascender—a post-Singularity human/machine hybrid—after all, they’re smarter, more enlightened, more compassionate, and above all, achingly beautiful. But Eli is a legacy human, preserved and cherished for his unaltered genetic code, just like the rainforest he paints. When a fugue state possesses him and creates great art, Eli miraculously lands a sponsor for the creative Olympics. If he could just master the fugue, he could take the gold and win the right to ascend, bringing everything he’s yearned for within reach… including his beautiful ascender patron. But once Eli arrives at the Games, he finds the ascenders are playing games of their own. Everything he knows about the ascenders and the legacies they keep starts to unravel… until he’s running for his life and wondering who he truly is.
When immortality is the prize, winning the Game is all that matters.
The Legacy Human is the first in Susan Kaye Quinn’s new young adult science fiction series that explores the intersection of mind, body, and soul in a post-Singularity world… and how technology will challenge us to remember what it means to be human.

Looks like it’ll be a good series, and I really like the cover as well. It’s awesome she kept with the same model and didn’t switch it up so you see the cohesiveness. 🙂

I loved the first book in this series and I am really looking forward to the next book. And the covers are so pretty. I am also happy she kept the same model for both covers, he fits what Eli looks like in my mind. And there are enough similiar elements to link the covers together as being in the same series.
