My Cover Review:
I already had the chance to read this book and I love it. My review will be posted one day after the release day. After reading the book I like the cover even more as fits the story. When I saw this cover for the first time my initial thought was surprise that Ari the main character isn’t on this cover as she is on the first two covers. I do like the style of the cover and how it fits the style of the previous two covers, it’s obvious these are a series. with the planet as recurrign theme on the cover and the colours and backgroudn that stay the same. I like it when it’s obvious covers belong to the same series.
I like how there is a bit more attention and room for the space elements on the this cover compares to the earlier covers and how the same planet is on all the covers. I feel like the cover is emphasizing Ari taking control of her life and/or the planet, because of the way the hand is positioned. Or how the rebels are taking back the planet. The glowing hand slightly makes me think of something surpernatural going on. Which after having read the book matches what’s gogin on and the glowign hand could point to her psychic powers.
To concluse: it’s a nice cover and I like how the style matches the previous two covers. I do think it’s a bit weird not to see Ari on the cover. There are elements like the background and the planet which make it obvious it’s the same series. And I like how the slightly different design might also point to this book being a bit different than the previous two. I really like what this cover means and I think it’s a great cover, although I think the cover for Beyond Reach is still my favourite.

what a wonderful cover, I love how it just draws the eye!! I think it makes a difference if covers in a series are more similar than different!!

I love the covers for this series, they are all so pretty! And indeed it certainly grabs your attention. I also prefer it when covers in a series match or have the same style and/or font, to show it’s a series. I want to be able to see it’s a series form looking at the covers.

The cover is very pretty:) I think it’s pretty important for series to stick with the same covers so theres a unity among them. I hate when covers suddenly change, it throws me off.

I agree, I like it most when the cover identfy the books as a series. And I think the covers for this series are really well done with how they all have the same feel and elements that are on each cover. And the font matches on each cover as well. And the style of the title consisting of two words every time.
I SO agree that it’s important and a MUST to have the same types of covers in a series because well….they’re in a series and each one of them tells a story so they should all correlate if that makes any sense? But maybe there is a deeper meaning behind the cover change in this one?

Sometimes having a different style for each books works, but I definitely prefer it is a series has matching style covers. I love seeing the same style return in each book. And I definitely think there is a reason for the cover change, as this book feels way more about the bigger scheme of things and Ariana changes a lot so I think the cover reflects that. I do like that the rest of the cover still has the same style.
Not my favorite but I’m loving the spherical theme of the series.
