About Me is a feature on Lola’s Review where I talk about me. Usually these posts are everything that doesn’t fall under any standard header, like blog tours, book blitzes, cover reveals or review. About Me posts usually are about books, but are more personal discussions of a certain topic. If an About Me post is about a non-book topic it gets the non-book content posts tag and will be posted on a saturday

So I got nominated for the Liebster Award by Iza from The Hidden Red Alcove. I already got nominated once, so I am not going to tag anymore people, but I will answers Iza her questions.

1 – What is the book of all times for you?
You’re asking me to choose one? I can’t, I hate choosing one favourite book, it just isn’t doable for me. About all the books I gave 5 stars are awesome books.

2 – Who’s your favorite super hero(in) and why ?
I don’t know. I didn’t watch a lot of super hero movies of series when I was little. The first to come to mind is the PowerPuff Girls I loved that series when I was little. And superheroes make me think of a fun Middle Grade series I read some time ago, the Nikki Powergloves series by David Estes. It’s a fun series where the main character finds magic gloves with different powers.

3 – What would your dream life be ?
Living somewhere with my boyfriend surrounded by nature, organizing blog tours for a living and having enough time to read and spend time with my boyfriend. Not having to worry about money, no pressure to do anything I don’t want to. I would love to live somewhere where I can just walk out the front door and into the forest.

4 – Do you have a favorite literature genre ?
I am someone who read a lot of different genres and while I have times where I read more of a certain genre then others I can’t really say I have a favorite genre. Some of my current favorite genres are: contemporary romance, paranormal romance, urban fantasy and dystopia.

5 – Paper book or e-book ?
Both. I love my paperbacks, there is just something about holding a real book in your hands. But I also love my Kobo and I wouldn’t know what to do without it, it’s so handy and easy and I only need to have my Kobo with me to have a lot of books with me. And nowadays I mostly read on my e-reader and when I do read a paperback I have this urge to click on the pages instead of turning them as my e-reader has a touch screen and ticking the screen is the way to turn the pages there.

6 – Favorite meal and what would you drink with it ?
I would probably drink tea with it, lol, I love tea and often ask that as my first drink during a dinner. After that I usually switch to water or some fruity drink, like apple juice. My favorite meal that’s difficult, I love a good pizza, but I also like trying new things.

7 – Where’s the best place you ever went to ? (and do you have a picture ?)
Scotland, that country is so beautifull. I can’t even describe it in words, you’ll have to visit it yourself. There’s no much nature and you have these places with lakes or water and there’s no man made shore, it’s natural. And there’s so much nature, I feel free there and at home. I visited once on vacation and kept a diary during that vacation and I once re-read that diary and only from reading it I got that longing feeling to get back. I also love Germany as a country, there is so much nature there as well and I love forests.

8 – What is the thing that makes your stomach flip in a bad way ?
Heights. I get this weird feeling in my stomach when I am high above the gorund. I am terrifief of heights and even heights in movies or books can make me feel like this. Remember that scene in the book Divergent by Veronica Roth with the ferris wheel? I had to do my best to not think about high up they where. Or that scene in Star Wars episode 4 with Luke and cloud city.

9 – What do you think of libraries ?
I love libraries, because there are so many books. But I prefer bookstores, because I prefer new books and I hate it when my books look used. But I still like to visit libraries and be surrounded by so many books and people who love to read.

  1. Thanks for playing with me πŸ˜‰
I love Scotland too ! I went to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and crossed the Highlands by train to go to the Isle of Sky – beautiful landscapes and completely otherwordly ! I went to see the Loch Ness, too, but sadly, no Nessie in sight πŸ˜‰

    • I’ve been to Edinburgh as well, but not too Glasgow, that was a too far out of our route. We spend one day at Isle of Sky, and the part we saw wasn’t that impressive. We also visited Loch Ness and neither did we see Nessie. It’s such a beautifull country.
