The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was another tiring week. I am making good progress with figuring out what I can and can’t eat without my gut acting up, but it sure has been a process. Some days go really well and I’ve had less bloating and less gastrointestinal discomfort than most weeks, so that’s great. And then I eat something I shouldn’t have and have some symptoms again. I’ve been careful and reading a lot of ingredient lists. I am glad I am finally figuring things out, but it was been tiring for sure.
Besides that I’ve been feeling a bit anxious this week and struggling with that. We had the our time change last weekend to summer time, so that took some adjusting as well. And I had some days of feeling super hungry and that took some adjusting and figuring out how much and what to eat. I had a nice bike ride in again and got some things done around the house as well as a bit of assistant work. I am working on a big formatting project for the author I work for, so that’s been fun.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: The Black Sands of Hades by Mindi Briar
– Review: Gut Goals by Beth Rosen
– Review: Dead and Berried by Peg Cochran
– Review: A Demon’s Chef Recipe For Fried Chicken by Ariana Jade
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Manifesting and Mischief by Beth Dolgner
– Review: Complementary by Celia lake
– Review: Dreaming of Hel by Laura Greenwood

I’m glad you’ve been able to start figuring some things out and that you got some reading done 🙂
It’s been a tough process, but I am glad I am finally getting somewhere with figuring things out.
I’m so grateful for what you’ve done with my first formatting project! Now I have to do some writing to get the next book done if I’m going to do that! Glad you are getting things figured out for what you can eat. I know I’ve got to stop snacking at work, at least not sitting and basically grazing at my desk. So that’s my first thing to work on this week. Hope you have a good week!

I am glad I could help you with the formatting for your book. And I hope you can get some writing done on your next book. It’s been rough figuring out what I can eat and what not, but it’s been good seeing the improvement.
It takes a while to work out exactly what you can and cannot have, doesn’t it? And it’s utterly miserable when you get it wrong! Glad you’re making progress. Formatting is fun – it’s one of the editing chores I enjoy doing with my books. Apart from anything else, it means I’m nearly ready to publish! I hope the coming week is a good one, Lola:).
It sure takes a while to figure it all out and getting it wrong is a pain, but I also don’t want to avoid too many things that I can in fact eat. It’s good to be malign progress and have more days when I feel decent. There’s just something so fun about making a good all ready to get published and making sure it all looks good.
I’m glad you’re getting the foods figured out that you can eat.
It sure is a hassle, but I am glad I am getting somewhere.
It’s taken some time for my daughter to figure out what she can eat but now she is doing much better. You will find what works.

Thanks for the encouragement! I sure hope it gets easier once I find out what works.
Dietary stuff can be just a nightmare — I’m supposed to be careful because of GORD, but, wah, I LIKED what I ate before… So sending you best wishes with that!
Hope you have a good reading week!
Same here I liked what I ate before and I love my routines and eating the same thing a lot, so having to change almost everything has been a lot of stress and effort. Then again actually feeling better is so nice that I stick with it.
