The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
What a week this was. After the stress of last week with the medication and fan issue I was hoping for a smoother week, but that sadly did not happen. Both issues continued and haven’t been resolved.
Last week I got a lot of side effects for a medication I tried for my bloating and gut issues so I stopped with that and then this week I managed to get hold of my doctor and she basically didn’t know what could be the cause and only had an idea for an elimination diet. I thought it over a bit and decided I wanted to get a blood test done first as that hasn’t been done yet and I just want to test for some things to make sure that wasn’t the cause before I consider the diet. I let the doctor know and now I have an appointment to get my blood tested next week, so hopefully that gives a bit more information.
On Monday we swapped out one of the fans in my computer, sadly this did not solve the annoying sound it has been making. So we switched the computer on in such a way we could stop each fan to figure out what is the cause and it turns out it’s the small fan on the graphics card that’s making the noise. We’re now doing research to see if we can replace that fan or the graphics card. So this will take more time to get resolved, which is bothersome as the noise is so annoying and I have to always wear earbuds now when sitting behind my computer.
I’ve been really struggling mentally this week. I’ve just been feeling so down with these ongoing issues. I also think something about my gut issue might be directly influencing my brain chemicals as I’ve just been feeling way more tired, sleep more and just feel depressed. I just hope we can figure out what’s causing my gut issues and resolve the computer noise soon as it’s been really draining dealing with this for so long. Luckily I felt a bit better mentally on Saturday.
What did I read this week?
I also finished Star Cruise Lucky Charm by Veronic Scott from Pets in Space 10
This week I blogged about:
– Review: All Spooked Up by E.J. Copperman
– Review: Roller Coaster Romance by Kate Moseman
– Review: Hunter’s Treasure by Olivia Jackson
– Review: The Ghost Story Witch & The Boisterous Ferret by Ariana Jade
What to expect next week on the blog:

– Review: Silenced at the Book Show by Kim Griswell
– Review: First Time’s a Charm by Laura Greenwood

I am so sorry you aren’t feeling like yourself. Gut issues can always cause such an issue. It throws off my entire day when my stomach is bothering me.
Sorry about your computer I recently got a new one but need to go get it services as the key are sticking and it is driving me crazy.
I hope this week is better for you, Lola! Happy Reading oxox
I never had gut issues for so long and it’s really getting to me and never realized how much it influences everything else.
That’s neat you got a new computer, hopefully you can get those sticky keys fixed as that would drive me crazy too. I can’t afford a new computer sadly, but we think we can replace the graphics card and that should fix the noise.
I think you are definitely on the right track that the one health issue could be leading to what is causing the others for sure. It all ends up being related i the end. I hope you are able to figure out the graphic card issue because that would drive me crazy too! Here’s hoping you have a better week and get some answers and solutions.

I definitely think a lot of the issues are connected. I hope the blood test this week reveals more. And the graphic card issue is such a pain, the noise drives me crazy, but I likely have to replace the whole card as it seems impossible to replace this fan as they don’t sell those separately.
I hope you are able to make progress and feel better this week. I had my own unfun week with dental surgery and spent some afternoons sleeping.

I sure hope we can make some progress and figure it out soon. Sorry to hear about your dental surgery and the following tiredness.
That’s too bad the medication wasn’t helpful and you were in so much discomfort. And, argh, about the annoying fan noise. Wouldn’t be surprised if your gut health being poor does cause the exhaustion. Hopefully, you and your doctors can figure out the mystery.
Have a good week, Lola!
I do think the gut health probably influences my energy levels, so I hope we can figure it out soon. I hope the blood tests tells us more. It really was annoying to have the medication affect me like that. And it’s been difficult still dealing with the fan noise as well.
I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. I hope this week is better for you.
Thanks! I hope so too.
I’m sorry things have been so stressful.
I really hope some of these things can get resolved soon.
Wishing you a much better week ahead!
Thank you!
