The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was a bit of a struggle. We had some very dark and gloomy days and my energy levels and mood were quite low for some days. It’s hard to deal with the low energy levels when the days get shorter and darker and even my daylight lamp hasn’t been enough to combat it. And it’s so hard when everything feels like too much and I don’t have enough energy to get through my days. Luckily we got some sunnier days later in the week that helped a bit.
There also were some things I needed to do like clear up the miscommunication about the kitchen repair. Then later in the week my period migraine hit and I spent some days feeling groggy and with brain fog, the pain has gotten better recently now that I have the pain killer schedule pat down, but the brain fog is such a struggle.
I called my mom again this week and chatted with her a bit, she’s doing a bit better, but still has to stay in the hospital until her wound is fully healed. She can eat and drink again instead of the tube feeding and move around a bit, so she was happy with that.
My blog issues seem to have resolved itself and I have no clue what resolved it. Let me know if you still have any trouble or get any errors.
What did I read this week?
These were all great and all were solid 4 star reads.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Earl Grave Tea by Gretchen Rue
– Review: Book Store Witch by Ariana Jade
– Review: The Demon and The Fairy by Laura Greenwood
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Cursed Cocktails by S.L. Rowland
– Review: One Sharp Stitch by Allie Pleiter
– Review: The Hellhound Growl by Ariana Jade

So glad your Mom is doing better and the blog issues are also improved. It is a rough time of year with less sunlight. With the holiday here this week, I hope things are a bit more relaxed.

I am so glad the blog issues seem to have improved even tough I am not sure what resolved it. Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated here, although we do have the Black Friday discounts nowadays. I really struggle with the less sunlight unfortunately.
The gloomy days have been getting to me too. Hope you have a good week!
Sorry to hear the gloomy days have been getting to you too :(. This time of year can be tough, I’ll be glad when the days get longer again.
Glad your mom seems to be doing better and it is progressing in a positive manner. Yeah, I don’t mind the gloomy days when I can be home and just reading or doing what I want. But when I’m out doing things it does bug me because I just want to be home. I hope you have a good week!

Sadly my mood and energy levels seem to be really impacted by the gloomy weather and I sure rather would be at home doing what I want than have to be doing things. I am glad my mom is doing a bit better.
It can be jarring to have the shorter days! Hope you’re able to soak up some sun this week. Happy to hear your mom is doing a little better!
We just had two sunny days, so that was nice. And it was good to hear my mom was doing a bit better.
Sorry you had such a rough week health-wise. What a relief for you that your mom is doing better.
Hopefully this week will be better, Lola!
Thanks! It’s been tough adjusting to the shorter days and lower energy levels. It sure was a relief to hear my mom was doing better.
