The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
There was again some renovation noise this week, but luckily not too bad. I got startled one day because someone was walking on the scaffolding in front of our windows, not sure what they were doing, but it sure is weird to see someone walking in front of your windows like that. We didn’t get any cleaning done this week as neither of us had the energy for that, instead we’re replaying a favorite game of ours, which has been fun.
I’ve been feeling low on energy lately, which often happens in the winter months. It started later than last year, so I think the extra bright lamps I got last year are helping some, but this week was particularly dark.
I formatted another book for the same author I did 2 books for last week and I have 2 more to go to finish the formatting task for this series. And then create the ebook versions for all 5 books as well. Hopefully I can get a lot of that done next week.
My period migraine hit later in the week. The medicines helped quite a bit this time and I feel like I finally figured out the way to have the least pain, but I still didn’t really feel good.
And my review for Key Lime Pie went live this week. I really enjoyed this book!
What did I read this week?
All solid 4 star reads this week. It was nice to have a row of good reads.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Cosmic Secret by Evelyn Lederman
– Review: Toxic Productivity by Israa Nasir
– Review: Key Lime Sky by Al Hess
I would indeed be startled to watch someone walking in front of my window! I hope you can get all the work done.
It’s such a weird sight to suddenly see them walking in front of our windows, I hope it doesn’t happen often.
I’m hoping to get to your review this week, I’m so far behind on commenting on other blogs other than Sunday posts. Now I’m getting a “not secure” warning when I click on your link in your post. Ugh. But I’m at least able to comment if I don’t fill in the. comment luv stuff below with my website. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving week!

Some weeks are just busy like that and you can’t get everything done that you want. Do you keep getting the not secure warning? I don’t have https yet on my website and know some browsers don’t like it, so that might explain the warning. I am glad to hear you can still comment at least, adding your links manually like this works great too 🙂
It seems like you accomplished quite a bit this week in spite of issues. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

I am glad I could still get a bunch of things done despite the migraine and low energy levels.
Yeah, that would be startling to have a worker walk past your window like that. This past summer I was out working in my garden when I looked up and saw a guy working on one of the telephone poles between yards. Had no idea he was up there, LOL
Wow, getting some good work done for your authors even with the headache and low energy. That was smart to get the lamps for extra light. I love adding all the festive lights during the holiday season.
Nice to have all those 4-star reads.
Have a great week, Lola!
It really was startling to have the workers walk past our windows like that. I can imagine that was quite the surprise to see that worker op on the telephone poles.
I’ll have to see if I can get one of those special lamps that mimic daylight, maybe that will help even more. I haven’t added any festive lights yet.
It sure was a good reading week 🙂
Yeah I can see where it would be strange to see someone walking in front of your window. I hope the migraine went away and you are feeling better.

A mixed week for you it seems, I hope this week is better.
Wishing you a happy reading week
Thanks! I hope so too!
Sorry about all the difficulties, but I love that you read books with such colorful covers 😄
It really was a colorful bunch of covers for this week and they were all good ones too.
