The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was another stressful week, my boyfriend has been dealing with something, which didn’t go right and is a bit of a mess. He’s working through it and doing what he can, but it’s been stressful. I don’t want to go into details, but needless to say it put some added stress on our week. I also had a nasty headache caused my shoulder pain that lasted for a few days and only now is a bit better. And a weird issue with one of my emails, I think I figured what caused it, but I have to handle things differently than how I had set things up which is a bit of a pain.
Besides that we’re still dealing with our mosquito problem. It has gotten a lot better, but we’re still killing about 5-10 per day and they are still annoying. The mosquito netting around our bed is helping as long as we make sure it’s properly closed everywhere as we had a few mosquitos get in when we didn’t.
I did some assistant work this week and finally completed a task that was on my to-do list for a while, it felt good to get that done. I am still working with the support team from my formatting software to figure out why my formatting files don’t export right, but hopefully that will be resolved soon.
What did I read this week?
All four of these were great reads. I also had two DNF’s, but didn’t list those.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Honey and Pepper by A.J. Demas
– Review: The Cookie Crumbles by Tracy Badua and Alechia Dow
– Review: Dungeons and Drama by Kristy Boyce
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Pippi’s Inn for Wandering Spirits by Erin Ritch
– DNF Reviews May, June and July 2024
– Review: Stoney Gazes for Helpful Gorgons by Laura Greenwood
Oh no! I hope that this week is better for you both!
Dungeons and Drama looks cute!
Dungeons and Drama was great, I can definitely recommend it! A very sweet and cute romance.
I get the stressful week! I made a dumb mistake by signing an estimate even though I knew it was going to end up being a contract at that point, and now I’m just hoping it doesn’t screw me over financially when I’m already struggling with that. Gah, the mosquito thing is crazy! I’m trying to remember if you had them do like a bug bombing of your whole house? Or is that crazy expensive probably? I can’t wait to read your review of Dungeons and Drama as it was on the top of my TBR! Hope you have a better week.

I am sorry to hear about that signing mistake, I hope it turns out for the best and not screw you over financially. Not sure if we have something like bug bombing here, but we haven’t done that, we’re focusing on trying to figure out how they get in. Dungeons and Drama was great, I look forward to hearing what you think of it!
I hope this week is much better. You’re reading some interesting books.
