The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was a bit of a full one. I’ve been trying to catch up on the work I already took on, but have been struggling getting work done and realized I need to take it easier for a bit. I’ve decided to close my sign up forms for Lola’s Blog Tours except for the book formatting and just take a break where I only focus on assistant work. I hope this will help. I am doing a bit better with my physical energy levels and I think the B12 I started taking a few weeks ago is helping, so that’s good news.
I put a new review opportunity live this week for an educative science book for children and teens. This one has paperback copies available as well. And I am working on another review opportunity that I hope to have live next week. I did some assistant work tasks and some formatting changes for the books I formatted for one of my authors.
Besides that I also took a day off to just relax and that was nice, that was also what made me realize I need to take it easier as I struggled getting back to work after that. And there are non work related things I want to get around to doing and they just pile up and I can’t seem to get to them, so maybe with a lighter workload I can get to those as well.
If you like fantasy romance books, check out http://lolasreviews.com/review-the-broken-queen-by-lidiya-foxglove/my review for The Broken Queen that went live this week. I loved this book and can’t recommend it enough!

Thanks! I hope so too.
Good luck with all the tours. My book touring days are over as I read on a whim, not a schedule, these days. Have a good week.
Thanks! The tours I mention are ones I organize, I don’t participate in a lot of them. Although I do get a lot of review copies through Netgalley, Booksprout and from authors that I try to get to around release day.
I hope you have some time to rest, Lola! Finding a good work-life-rest balance is so difficult.

Thanks! I’ve had so little energy these past few months that I have to figure out a whole new balance, it’s tricky.
It is always hard to find a balance that works when you are in business for yourself. Best of luck getting that right – and I hope the coming week is a good one for you, Lola:).
It really is difficult to find that balance, especially with my lower energy levels these past few months that threw off my balance that I had found.
Hope you find a happy balance soon. Have a great reading week.
Thanks!
It’s really important to give yourself a break and rest sometimes. You will figure it out. I hope it’s a good week ahead.

Thanks! I am planning to take a break and rest and hopefully feel better afterwards.
It’s important to take care of yourself. I’m glad you’re feeling a little more energetic. The Grim Steeper looks fun. Have a good week!

I am glad the B12 seems to be helping so far, so I’ll keep it up. The Grim Steeper was great 🙂
I hope you have a better week.
