The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was a pretty decent one. A few things didn’t go as smoothly and I didn’t get as much work done. Then later in the week my period migraine started and I took it easy those days. My medicines worked pretty good this time and I didn’t hurt as much, but I still dealt some brain fog, tiredness and sensory sensitivities, which meant I still didn’t feel very good.
I finished some good books and am in the middle of some more good ones. Also got quite some gaming done this week. As well as some usual house task stuff. Work wise I had a tour start this week that I daily checked the tour stops for, a blog tour ended so I closed that one and did some work on an upcoming review opportunity.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Don’t Want You Like a Best Friend by Emma R. Alban
– Review: Wrenched by Lindsay Buroker
– Review: Honey Moon Murder by Dahlia Donovan
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: A Mythical Case of Arson by Melissa Erin Jackson
– Review: The Broken Queen by Lidiya Foxglove
– Review: Chef’s Kiss by T.J. Alexander
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Daughter of Isis by Kelsey Ketch
– Review Opportunity: Eat Dessert First by Michelle Paris
– Review Opportunity: The October That Changed Everything by Connie Lacy
Ooh, A Mythical Case of Arson sounds good! I’ll have to check your review out soon! Glad your meds are helping with the migraines somewhat. Every little bit is a success or win! Hope you have a good week!

I had fun reading A Mythical Case of Arson, I can definitely recommend it. My review is live now :). The meds don’t always seem to work well, so I definitely take it as a win when they work.
I’m glad your medications worked for you. I hope this week you are feeling better.

Thanks! I am glad the medications worked well at least, it seems to vary from time to time how well they work.
I had a migraine too. It lasted 2 days. I can only have basic medication due to breastfeeding so 🙄
Interesting looking books.
Have a great week ahead!

I am sorry to hear you had a migraine as well and can only take basic medication. I hope you feel better now!
The broken queen looks good it has an amazing cover anyway. I hate period migraines they should be banned. Have a great week.
The Broken Queen was really good! I gave it a 5 star rating and I agree the cover looks awesome too. Period migraines should be banned indeed.
I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks! I hope so too.
I’m glad the medications worked a bit. I used to take Imitrex and it helped for migraines. I stopped getting migraines years ago thankfully.

That’s good to hear you no longer get migraines. I am glad my medicines seem to help well for the pain as long as I take it easy.
I hope you are feeling better this week. Happy reading!
