sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What happened this week?

Not much new to mention this week. I am still struggling with burn out. I got a migraine later in the week, but my medicines worked relatively well this time. And we had some snow here this week which caused slippery roads and we had to be careful when going outside. I managed to take things a bit easier this week and hopefully I can continue doing so, but it still varies a lot from day to day how I feel.

Work wise I got a bunch of tasks done for one of the authors I do assistant work for. And tried to take it easy besides that as with my migraine I couldn’t do much anyway.

What did I read this week?

    • Sorry to hear you’re struggling with your job, is there anything you can do to make those 4 years more pleasant? I can definitely see why that full retirement is important.

    • Sorry to hear you also struggle with migraines, they are miserable and ruin the week indeed.

Ghost Ship was a good one, if you like scifi romance books I would definitely recommend that author :).

  1. Yeah, those migraines just suck the energy out of one. Yay for getting so much work done and for getting through a big stack of reading this week.

    Have a good week, Lola!

    • It was thanks to timing and pausing one of those audiobooks I managed to finish so many books this week, but it sure looked fun to be able to list 4 books.

  2. I’m sorry you are having some trouble with migraines. My daughter has them and had to take meds 3 times this week to avoid the worst of them. Take care!

    • Migraines are horrible, sorry to hear your daughter also struggles with them. Mine always happen when I am on my period and the best the meds can do is dull the pains, the ones outside it I can usually avoid when I take my meds in time.

  3. Migraines stink, I hope your meds work well so you can avoid some. I’m triggered by sunshine sometimes and it’s always worse in the winter, I think it has something to do with sunshine and dry air. I don’t know. I hope you enjoyed The Secret Book and Scone Society, It’s one of the best first books in a cozy series in my opinion.

    • Sorry to hear you have migraines as well and are triggered by sunshine, that’s tough to avoid. My migraines gets triggered when I am on my period and I haven’t been able to avoid those even with my meds. Sometimes I get one outside of that and if I take my meds on time that can prevent them. I really enjoyed The Secret Book and Scone Society and plan to continue the series.
