The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
I am still dealing with feeling burned out. I feel like I found a slightly better way to structure my days and got a few more things off my plate, but it’s still tough. Some days are easier than other and other days really are a struggle to get through. I made some cookies this week, I did run out of energy when they were almost done, but managed to finish them. They are red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips and they taste really good.
Work wise I had a cover reveal sign up post that I worked on and went live this week. As well as some author assistant work I worked on. Some of the usual administrative work.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: A Wild Ghost Chase by Elle Adams
– Review: Secrets of the Sword III by Lindsay Buroker
– Review: Out of the Picture by Tracy Gardner
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Hammered by Lindsay Buroker
– Review: Notes for Neuro Navigators by Jolene Stockman
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Brooke’s Win-Win Pony by Susan Count
– Review Opportunity: Adventures of Takuan from Koto by Ryu Zhong
– Review Opportunity: Notes for Neuro Navigators by Jolene Stockman
– Cover Reveal: Eat Dessert First by Michelle Paris – 12 January 2024 – New!
Sometimes I struggle to get things done for a few days, then finally am able to do them. I don’t know if it is that I am tired or if I need time to work it through in my head before I do it. This week had quite a bit of that. Days where I didn’t seem to accomplish anything and then a day when it all seemed to come together and finish. I hope this week is restful for you.

Thank you! I am hoping to get some more restful weeks in. I do like those days where everything comes together and you can get a lot done.
Sometimes you just have to push through. I’ll be glad when Christmas Eve arrives so I can chill and then bask in the afterglow of the holidays – aka – CHILL! I’m off that week and we basically do very little but game, read, watch TV and play with the dogs. Hope you have a wonderful week!
That does sound nice and relaxing how you have a week off after the holidays. I have very little work planned for these few weeks so hopefully I can fit in some relaxing time as well.
I hope you find you have more energy next week for the things you want to do.

Thanks! I hope so too.
Burnout is no fun at all, and I know that the holidays aren’t always restful if you’re hosting people but I hope that you get some time for some deep rest soon.

Thanks for stopping by :). We’re visiting others for the holidays and the celebrations are spread out, so hopefully I can fit in some rest as well.
