The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
Again not the best week. I had a headache and then once that was away I got a migraine, so there was a lot of me not feeling well this week. The medicines worked a bit so I was going back and forth between more and less pain depending on the moment of the day. The issue with our boiler/ central heating device finally got fixed this week, it took some time, but it seems like it’s no longer leaking now. And finally some positive news about my boyfriends medication, he switched to a much lower dosage of one of the first meds he tried and this seems to be working enough while not giving him any side effects. So we’re cautiously optimistic, just waiting to see if this keeps working well. He will keep trying this for a while to see how it goes.
Work wise it was quite busy, which was a bit difficult with my headache and migraine making it hard to do as much work. I got all 3 media kits for next week’s tours send out, although I did not notice one of the media kits was missing something until a blogger pointed it out to me, luckily I could fix that afterwards. I also had some assistant work wrap up for the month to do and got most of that done as well.

I hope this week is headache-free and that your BF’s new meds are side-effect-free–side effects stink!. Honey Mead Murder looks fun. I have read some of Dahlia Donovan’s books before and I like her characters. This weekend we put up our outside Halloween decorations, it’s fun to see all the decorations popping up in our neighborhood.
Thanks! So far so good on the headache and side effects front. I liked this Dahlia Donovan book and plan to check out more of her books, I liked the characters in this one. How fun you got your Halloween decorations up! I’ve been seeing a few decorations pop up in our neighborhood as well, but not as many yet.
Board to Death looks like a fun read. I hope you have a wonderful week, Lola.
I really liked the concept of Board to Death, but I didn’t enjoy the book as much as I had hoped.
Sorry about your migraine – that is always a misery. But yippee for your b/f’s improvement with the lower dosage in the medication – fingers crossed it goes on working:)). That’s another Lindsay Buroker series I haven’t yet had the pleasure of reading – when I’ve completed Agents of the Crown, I’ll look out for it. Have a good week, Lola:).
The migraine was pretty bad. I am glad my boyfriend’s medication seems to work with the lower dosage, I hope it keeps working. I am really enjoying this Lindsay Buroker’s series so far. I feel like she’s one of those authors where if you like her writing style you’ll enjoy most of her books. I still have to go back and finish her Death Before Dragons series after this and I hope to check out the spin-off.
Double whammee on the headaches can be rough, but yay for the fixed boiler and your boyfriend finding the solution with the meds, hopefully. Workwise and reading was good this week.
Have a good week, Lola!
The headache and then a migraine really put a damper on my week. I am glad the boiler issue is fixed and my boyfriends meds seems to work well now.
I’m glad to hear that they figured out a medication dose for your boyfriend. Hopefully you are headache free this week.
