The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a tough week. It was so warm here the whole week and I don’t deal well with the heat at all. I also had a headache and shoulder pain for most of this week. I just didn’t feel good. The temperatures should go down again next Tuesday, so I am looking forward to that. I made two appointments that I still had to make for the pipes under the kitchen sink that need replacing, which will happen next week, and someone who would come and fix a leaking pipe under our boiler later this month. So at least those are planned. We’re still waiting on the test results for my boyfriend’s medical test.
Work wise it was still a decent week and I got some things done. I did some assistant work for one of my authors and put a new review opportunity live for a YA fantasy book. A new tour got booked for a non-fiction book which I am working on next and will be live next week. I also sent out the media kit for a tour starting next week.

Hope the repairs go well. We are due a cool down this week thank Heavens. We haven’t had it bad this year like some states but I hate super hot heat and our pup Apollo does as weel. Hope you have a great week!
Thanks! I hope the repairs go well too. The weather here should cool down as well this week, so that’s good. I also hate the super hot weather and we don’t have AC here.
I’m not a fan of the heat either. I hope you have a better week coming, weather-wise and feeling better.

Luckily the weather was a lot cooler this week.
I hope that your plumbing issues get repaired easily (and inexpensively). I’m sorry you’re not feeling well this week and hope you have a better week ahead.
Thanks! The pipes are old so they wanted to replace them, I hope it all goes smoothly.
I’m trying to enjoy the warm weather while I can since I know it’s going to start cooling down soon. I’m not ready for fall (and then winter) weather yet!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the warm weather. Sadly I don’t deal well with very hot weather, but also don’t like it when it’s really cold. Spring and autumn are best for me temperature wise.
Ugh. Sorry to hear it’s been so hot. I know you don’t have air conditioning there so it must be hard to deal with. Especially if you’re in pain too! I hope all your appointments this month go well!

Indeed without air conditioning it’s really hard to handle, especially as inside the house it gets so warm as well and stays hot. Luckily now after a week of some cooler weather it’s a doable temperature in house again.
Sorry to hear that you are struggling with the heat. I do not tolerate heat well, so I can relate. I hope there is some positive news coming soon from your boyfriend’s tests!
It really was a struggle with the heat, luckily this week the weather was cooler.
Glad you were able to get your work done even though the sweltering heat. Hopefully a cool down soon. Lola!
Luckily this week is better temperature wise.
When it’s hot, it just makes everything worse. Hopefully the shoulder pain goes away.

The heat definitely makes everything worse. I have to be careful with my shoulder, when I use it to much or get too stressed or tense it often starts hurting.
