The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
The good news is that our kitchen sink got finally unclogged this week. We had an appointment on Tuesday, but on the day itself we got called that they couldn’t make it then. So we had to wait till Thursday, but now it’s finally fixed. It’s such a relief to have our kitchen sink in working order again. My boyfriend went to the doctor for a test regarding his medication side effects to see if they could figure out what was causing it and we’re still waiting on the results back of that. Later in the week I got a migraine, the first day I was in a lot of pain, but after that the medicines seemed to work and the other two days were much better doable with mostly brain fog and a bit of pain.
Work wise I put a new blog tour live for a science fiction book. I also did some assistant work for some of the authors I work for, wrapped up the August work and made a start on September work. And I finished writing a new blog post for authors that I have scheduled to go live next week on my Lola’s Blog Tours site, this one is about author website and which content to have on it. I am working on a new book blitz too that I hope to have live next week. It’s great to be working on some tours again and I hope the work continues this way as the slower months can be hard to deal with.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Slashing Through the Snow by Jacqueline Frost
– Review: Capture the Sun by Jessie Mihalik
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Death by a Thousand Sips by Gretchen Rue

Have a good week, Lola!
It sure was a week with ups and downs. I hope things calm down soon.
What a relief to get the kitchen sink finally unclogged – but that is an unacceptable length of time to have to wait! Sorry about the migraine, but I’m glad the medication worked. And fingers crossed regarding your boyfriend’s tests – it’s always a worrying time waiting for results. I hope the coming week is a kind one, Lola:).
I am so glad it’s finally unclogged, but I agree the long wait was unacceptable, lots of small things that made it last longer than it should. I am glad my medication worked well this time. We’re still waiting on the test results for my boyfriend unfortunately, another thing that’s taking longer than it should.
Glad you got the sink fixed. Have a great coming week! Here’s my SP: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2023/09/03/sunday-post-document-everything/
It’s so nice to have the sink fixed.
I’m sure you are happy to have the sink unclogged.

I like Jessie Mihalik’s books, although this one wasn’t my favorite by her, most of the ones I read I really enjoyed.
Ugh, sorry to hear about the migraine! I hope this week you don’t have any.
