The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week started off kinda rough, but slowly got better. I was just in a bit of a weird mood and tired, but slowly it got better. I messaged with a few people about books this week and had a phone call with my sister as well, which was fun. I also had a nice walk this week in a area I hadn’t walked in before, which was nice. And I baked some chocolate chip blondies this week which were really good.
I had a dentist visit late this week and got totally rained under on the way there, but luckily the dentist visit went okay and I have no caries. I got rained under the way back home as well. So that wasn’t fun, but it’s been dry for a long time so it was good for everything to get some rain.
Work wise it was a solid week. I worked on getting two sign up posts live. One for a non-fiction book and a review opportunity for a cozy mystery book. I also did the usual assistant work and replying to emails. And I am working on a new cover reveal next week to put live on my site.
What did I read this week?
I finished Out of the Ashes this week. It was a great read and a good conclusion to the series.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: A Teaspoon of Desire by Alex Danvers
– Review: Out of the Ashes by Jenn Burke
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Battle Bond by Lindsay Buroker
– Review: Omega Sanctuary by Mira Kane
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: The Pig Wars by M.K. Theodoratus

It sure was a busy week, luckily the dentist visit went well despite the rain. It was fun to find a new area to walk in, although I think I overdid it a bit as my legs hurt a bit after that long walk.
I’m glad your week got better. Hope this coming week is great!
Thank you!
Glad your week didn’t turn out too bad in the end. Chatting to my sister always cheers me up too and baking and walking are excellent mood-lifters.
I hadn’t called with my sister for a while and it was fun to catch up. The baking and walking certainly helped too.
Hi Lola! You are allowed to be in a bad mood every now and then! But I’m glad to hear your week did get better as it progressed.
Take care of yourself and have a good week ahead!
Thanks! I just don’t like being in a bad mood. I am glad it got better as the week progressed. the same happened again this week.
I’m glad to hear the dentist visit went well and that the week ended on a good note.

Thanks! I am glad the dentist visit went well 🙂
It was great talking books with you this past week! I’m sure we’ll be chatting again soon. Sorry to hear about all the rain getting you to and from your appointment. What a pain.

I hope we can chat again soon, this week was a bit busy and I didn’t get around to sending you a message. The rain to my appointment wasn’t nice, although I am sure all the plants appreciate the rain after the drought.
