The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a pretty okay week. I got a good amount of work done and the first half of the week went pretty well, later in the week I got a bit of a headache and was feeling more tired so then I took things a bit more easy. My boyfriend’s neck/ shoulder is slowly getting a bit better, but it’s slow progress. My sister got corona last week, but it doing better now luckily. The weather remains nice and sunny this week and it’s awesome. The municipal elections took place this week, so we went out to vote for that.
I got a decent amount of work done this week. I had hoped to put two new tours live, but only got one done. I put the sign up post for a science fiction book live and there are physical copies available. I did the usual assistant work too and am working on another tour as well.
What did I read this week?
Two great reads and one 3 star this week. Steeped to Death was a great paranormal cozy mystery series and I really enjoyed it. I liked seeing how the main character settled into this small town and took over the bookstore and tea shop her aunt used to run and discover she’s a witch.
I listened to Twisted Pretty Things and enjoyed the audio version. The story kept my attention and had some great twists and turns.
Omega Sanctuary had a great set-up and concept, but it fell a bit flat for me. Too many small things that didn’t work for me added up. I wrote a long review for it to detail all my thoughts.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Relay by Layla Reyne
– Review: Witches and Stitches by Laura Greenwood and Arizona Tape
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Blood and Back Stitches by A.C.F. Bookens
– Review: Catching a Warlock by Laura Greenwood

Glad the week went moderately well and your sister and boyfriend are both doing better. Nice that your business is keeping you busy and your reading was pretty good this week.
Have a good week, Lola!
I am glad business is going so well. As well as the good reading and my sister and boyfriend both doing better.
I’m glad your sister is feeling better. And that the neck problems your bf was having are stating to get better. Sounds like you had an ok week.

I am glad my sister recovered so quickly. My boyfriend’s neck and shoulder problems are still not fully better, but at least there’s progress.
Glad to hear your sister is doing okay! Sorry to hear about the headache. Those are always a bummer.

Yeah the headache put a damper on the end of the week. I am glad my sister is better already, I had lunch with her this week.
