sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What happened this week?

This was a busy week, I got a lot of work done which is great. Sadly I felt a bit off this week. On top of that my boyfriend’s job has been really busy, which is difficult to deal with. And now he’s sick too, he probably caught a cold or the flu. He did a self test for corona which came back negative luckily.

Work wise I mostly focused on my tour work as well as a few hours of assistant work. I put three new tours live this week, sent out two media kits for next week’s tour and had 3 tours running this week. I also did the usual email replying and also some work on tours I hope to put live next week.

I haven’t done much blogging, except for creating my weekly Sunday Post. I am running out of scheduled reviews soon, so I hope to make some time this week to schedule some reviews. At least I’ve been keeping up with writing reviews.

What did I read this week?

Pets in Space 6
I didn’t finish any books this week. I’ve been making my way through Pets in Space 6. I am about halfway through and there are a lot of awesome stories in this one so far. Carol Van natta’s Escape From Nova Nine is my favorite so far. Next up are stories by JC hay and SJ Pajonas, both authors I enjoy. I am taking a short break to read some other books before I return to Pets in Space 6.

My current reads
I am still listening to The Fire Prophecy. It’s a really long audiobook, which is great. I’ve been really enjoying this one. I just started The Serpent’s Fury and it’s off to a great start. I am also reading Stitch X for Murder which is really good so far. I decided to take a break from Pets in Space 6 for a bit as I was in the mood for a cozy and I am glad I picked this one up.

This week I blogged about:

Review: Entitled to Kill by A.C.F. Bookens
Review: Victim in the Valley by R.L. Syme

  1. What a bummer your boyfriend caught a bug and you both had an unsettled week. Wishing him well. Glad you have been enjoying Pets in Space and got some steady work done on your asst and tour work. Hopefully you’ll have time to work on your next batch of posts and enjoy your current reads.

    Have a good week, Lola!

Hope your boyfriend feels better soon! Also, how do you like audiobooks? I’ve been thinking of getting into some as I have yet to listen to an audiobook….
I recently got back in the swing of things when it comes to my blog so feel free to check out my Sunday Post at whenever you get the time (:

    • Thanks! I really like audiobooks. It took me some time to get used to them when i first tried them and I recommend trying a book you already first. I am also kinda picky when it comes to narrators, but if you find some good ones, it’s really awesome. It’s also nice how you can listen on times you normally can’t read, like while doing the dishes or laundry.
