Wait for You
by J Lynn (aka Jennifer Armentrout)

Blurb from Goodreads: Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

My Review:
I already heard good things things about this book before it was releashed and it’s written by Jennifer Armentrout, so enough reason to buy it immediately and read it. While the story isn’t al that original and even predictable at times, it still was an awesome book. I just love Jennifers writing style, it sucks me into her books every time. Also Avery and Cam are such a sweet couple, I really loved reading about them.

From the blurb I actually had no good idea where this book was about, my only clues were that it was about waiting, love and that it was a contemporary story. The story start off not that original, but the way the book is written and how the story developed made this an awesome book for me. This book certainly has that keep reading feel. I just wanted to keep reading, lost track of time and only wanted to know what happened next.

The characters are also what made this book awesome. I just loved reading about Avery and Cam, both have distinctive personalities and are very likeable characters. They both have their own problems and strenghts and small habits that make them seem real. I really liked them and I think they made an awesome couple, they are so good for each other. I also liked how the side characters still had a distinct personality even though not all of them actually played a huge part. Brit and Jacob are awesome friends, the kind of friend everyone should have.

I did have a few small issues with this book, mainly the fact that the story isn’t that original and even predictable at times. am realtionship developed is pretty cliché most of the times, although I did like how their relationship really built gradually and most aspects of it where very believeable. Also figured out part of Avery’s secret pretty soon. Also they are some other cliche parts in the story and characters, but even though I had some small issues with this story I would certainly recommend this book. It is beautifully written and i just wanted to keep reading.

To conclude: this is a book you should read, even though the story is not that original and even predictable at time, it is really an enjoyable book. It had that keep reading feel and I just wanted to keep reading and reading. Also the characters are very likeable and have their own distinct personalities. I had some small issues with the story, but nevertheless I think this book is awesome and I would certainly recommend it.
