I have read this book some time ago already and posted my review on the blog were I was co-blogger. I think this is an awesome book and that’s why I also want to post my review here.

My Review:
Wow this story was so good! I heard many good things about this book and all of them are true. Pushing the Limits is an addictable read about two troubled teens who fall in love with each other. It’s certainly is an emotional read and it takes you back to that difficult teenage age. The author manages to capture the feelings and emotions of these teenagers perfectly.

Normally I avoid stories without fantasy elements in it, but lately I am trying more of these books and am actualy finding out there are some really good stories out there without fantasy in it. This book is one of those. The story is about two troubled teens, they have really big problems, even bigger than most teens have to deal with. They both have a difficult life and struggle to make the best of it. The story is mainly about how they deal with their problems and find love. And it’s such a good story, it is also really believeable written. It is written very realisticaly and I would almost believe it is a story that really happened. Also there is no love at first sight, no obvious or unbelieveable plot lines. It is very well written, believeable and totally enjoyable.

Further this book took me on an emotional rollercoatser. I lived with the characters every moment. I even almost cried a few times, this books just tugs at my emotions. These characters don’t have it easy and seeing everything develop is emotional, but also beautifull.

I really loved the characters. They feel so real, not perfect, but with all their flaws and good points. I felt for both of them and they both had their good points and bad points and when they are together they are just perfect. Also the side characters get enoguh attention to give us a sense of who they are, the side characters give more colour and depth to the world and they fit perfectly in the story.

I am really glad I picked up this book, it was so good and I enjoyed every second of it. It is not a light read and definitely has enough emotional moments, but this only makes the book better. It all feels so real and the story is believeable.

To conclude: I really liked this book, it is fast paced, believeable and an emotional read. I loved all the characters and side characters, they really are great. I never thought I would enjoy books without fantasy, but books like these prove me wrong. I loved it!
