Blurb:
She’s hiding from an abusive ex-boyfriend. He’s a world-famous rock star. Can she overcome her past for the sake of love?

Jenna:
I thought Los Angeles would be a safe place to hide. It’s miles away from the man who could hurt me. If he ever finds where I am, or how I tricked him, he’ll kill me.
I need to keep my head down. Stay invisible. Be safe.

But Jace is making that really hard.
I can’t believe he even noticed me. He could have any girl in the world, but he’s falling for me. And I’m letting him, because my heart can’t help it.
He’s kind. Sweet. Tender. He’d never hurt me.
But what if someone sees us together? What if word gets out and the man set on destroying my life somehow finds me?

Jace:
I wasn’t looking for Jenna, but she walked into my life and captured my heart with her sweet smile and songbird voice. She’s all I want, but something is holding her back.
The look of fear that washes over her sometimes makes my heart twist.
What’s she hiding from?

I want her to let me in, but I’m afraid if I push too hard, she’ll run away from me.
All I can do is love her and protect her from the crazy world of fame.
I want to keep her safe within my arms and never let go.
But will she let me?

My Review

I received a free copy of this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.

My Safe Haven is the final book in the Lyrics of Love series as well as the story of the last band member of Chaos who didn’t have a significant other yet. It’s sad seeing this series come to and end, but this was a great last read in this series and I really enjoyed this book

My Safe Haven is the story of Jace and Jenna. Jace is looking for a girl he can really connect with and who doesn’t only care for his fame. Jenna is hiding from her past and isn’t ready for a new relationship, but he connection with Jace is hard to resit. I liked seeing these two fall in love. While it developed a bit quick, you could really feel their connection and depth of their feelings. And they were just so cute together.

Jace was so sweet and protective of Jenna and I liked how he trusted she would tell him about her past when she was ready. Yes he was curious, but didn’t push her. Even when one of his band mates says she’s hiding something, he sticks up for her. Jenna has been through a lot and while she’s safe now, she hasn’t really started living. That is until she meets Jace and slowly she find true happiness. I also liked her friend Dorothy who had her back.

Slowly we find out the whole story of Jenna’s past and it’s even worse than I expected. It’s sad to read about what she went through and that makes her happiness now only sweeter. There is a bit of tension/ suspense in the last part of the book. And then there is the sweet epilogue.

I liked seeing the band Chaos and all their partners again in this book, as well as mentions and appearances of some of the other couples. It was great to see how the whole Chaos band and their partners are one big family and it’s fun seeing Jenna slowly become part of that as well.

To summarize: this was a great read. Jenna and Jace made for a great couple and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. These two were great together. I liked how sweet Jace was to Jenna and how Jenna slowly grew to trust him. Jenna has been through a lot in her past and that story slowly gets revealed. It’s heartbreaking and sad. And it’s great to see her finally find her happiness. The epilogue was awesome too. And I liked seeing the whole Chaos band as well as their partners again in this book and how they all form one big family. All in all a great conclusion to this series.
