My Review
I love this series and this book was really good. After a DNF I decided to read this one as I wanted something I knew I would enjoy. I really like reading about Willow and Azíl, they are such an awesome couple and I like how real and caring their relationship feels.
In this book the plot surrounding The Sect continues, they went to a supernatural investigations company that is handling things. Willow is struggling with how it’s out her hands now and they have to wait to see how it plays out. In the meantime she’s keeping busy trying to recreate an ancient drink and there are things going on with her cousins like the wedding between Oakley and Justin, as well as Clover getting more involved with the coffee shop.
This series has a delightful slice of life feel, it feels cosy and enjoyable and I enjoy seeing how Willow and Azíl deal with everything. They are so fun to read about and I like reading about them interact. There are some wonderful scenes involving the two of them in this book and I had a great time reading it.
To summarize: I love this series and had a great time reading this book. I really like Willow and Azíl as a couple, they are just so wonderful together and. There are some really sweet and touching scenes involving them in this book. I like how they interact and how close and caring they are. This series has a delightful slice of life feel with a lot about their daily life as well as how they deal with the threat of The Sect. There is progression on both of those fronts in this book and I just had a great time reading it.
I’m glad you had a favorite, comfortable series to pick up after a disappointing DNF. I like the sound of her working on replicating an ancient drink and the pair enjoying the little things of life throughout the book.
It was so nice to get back to this series after that DNF. I liked her replicating the ancient drink and the cozy vibe and reading about the couple is so nice. Sadly only one more book left in the series.
I’m always so happy when I can revisit a series that I already like. This sounds good.

Same here, it’s so fun to back back to a series I already know and like.
Another good sounding series! Glad you’re enjoying it, and that it helped after a DNF.
