Hazelnut Latte And Something To SayHazelnut Latte And Something To Say (Cauldron Coffee Shop #2)
by Laura Greenwood

My Rating: 4 stars

Genre: Paranormal Romance
Age Category: Adult
Type of romance: MF

Blurb:
Discovering a warlock cursed to live in a teapot is only the start of Willow’s problems.

Now she has a coffee shop to run, a cursed 3000-year-old agoraphobic warlock to look after, and a mischievous cat trying to make mischief. And that’s without her heart getting added into the mix.

Can she help Azíl discover a way to break his curse before he’s forced back into his teapot for good?

Hazelnut Latte and Something to Say is book two of the Cauldron Coffee Shop Series, a witchy modern fantasy series with a romantic sub-plot, a mysterious teapot, and a cat who might be up to no good.

My Review

I really enjoyed the first book in this series when I read it earlier this year and was excited to start the second book. In Hazelnut Latte and Something to Say the characters Willow and Azíl continue their search to break Azíl’s curse. And their relationship deepens.

I enjoyed this second installment. Azíl and Willow are spending more time together and I liked seeing their relationship deepen as well as seeing more of them. Azíl is slowly learning more about the modern world and I really liked reading about him and seeing how he grew to understand more of the modern world and something misunderstanding things. I like Willow and Azíl together, I think they make for a great couple and enjoyed reading about them.

The plot progresses with Willow being determined to free Azíl from his curse and even Azíl slowly starts to hope such a thing is possible. We see more of Sabine as well as Willow’s cousins. And there was a fun scene with some characters from another series set in the same world as well. There are also scenes with the coffee shop and it was fun seeing Azíl working there too now. There is a event toward the end that changes things and I look forward to seeing how things progress in the next book.

To summarize: This was a great second installment in this series. I liked reading about Willow and Azíl, they make for a great couple and I liked seeing their romance deepen in this book. There also is more about their search to free Azíl from his curse and I liked seeing the progress they made there. There is an event at the end of the book that feels like a step in the right direction and I am eager to see the implications of that and how things progress in the next book. I enjoy seeing Azíl learning more about the modern world. I look forward to the next book!
