I am really excited to be part of the New Adult blog tour organised by the awesome Faye from A Daydreamer’s Thoughts. Today I’ll be featuring Caroline from the blog Big Book Little Book and she wrote an awesome quest post about her favourte New Adult crushes. And there is an awesome tour wide giveaway, you can scroll to the bottom of this post for that. You can see the whole tour schedule here.

And next week on 8 January I will have another blog post as part of this tour where I feature another bloggers!

Okay so first Caroline her guest post!

My five biggest New Adult crushes.

Thank you to Lola for hosting me today. Initially when I was asked to compile a list of my five favourite NA men I thought that I would write a paragraph or two about why I love each of  my book crushes. Then I decided  that you might not appreciate a post filled to the brim with gushing, swooning and phrases such as, “Bad boy with a heart”, “tattooed musician”….So instead I have decide to let them talk for themselves.

In no particular order I present…

…Jackson Hunt
The gorgeous, poetic, mysterious and strong, ex solder is the creation of the amazing Cora Cormack. You can read more about Hunt in Finding It and Finding Her.

“I want to memorize the way your eyes clench shut and you bite down on your lip, so that I can sketch your expression from memory. I want to know the exact angle of the way your neck curves, and how many times your heart beats a minute. I want to know everything.”
Finding It, Cora Cormack

…Jack Eversea
Jack may be my newest book crush, but Natasha Boyd’s handsome movie star is fast becoming my favourite. Believe me when I say that Jack is the king of the non-kiss and when his lips are allowed in on the action… *fans self*

“The way I feel about you was never a decision. It just was. I was made to love you. I never fell, I was already there. From the very first moment.”
Forever Jack, Natasha Boyd

…Simon Parker
Underneath the rather provocative cover, Alice Clayton’s Wallbanger, is a  one of the funniest New Adult books I have ever read- I’m talking snort out loud funny. Added to that is a beautifully paced, sweet romance, and some seriously hot “adult content”. Alice Clayton has made a fan for life. I can’t wait to imbibe the rest of the Cocktail series

“You done with work?

Yep, at home waiting for you.

Now that’s a nice visual…

Prepare yourself, I’m taking bread out of the oven.

Don’t tease me woman…zucchini?

Cranberry orange. Mmmm…

No woman has ever done breakfast bread foreplay the way you do.

Ha! When you coming?

Can’t. Drive. Straight.

Can we have one conversation when you’re not twelve?

Sorry, I’ll be there in 30

Perfect, that will give me time to frost my buns.

Pardon me?

Oh, didn’t I tell you? I also made cinnamon rolls.

Be there in 25. ”

Wallbanger, Alice Clayton

…Andrew Parish.
Neither he or Camryn were looking for a hookup, let alone love, when they stepped on to a Greyhound bus, but they just couldn’t help being drawn to a kindred spirit. I adored Andrews take life by the horns attitude and  non-paternalistic protective streak.

“Never thought I’d intentionally sleep on a bathroom floor next to a toilet while sober, but I meant it when I said I would sleep anywhere with her.”

The Edge Of Never, J.A Redmerski

…Jax Stone.
I couldn’t write a post about NA without mentioning Abbie Glines. While she is responsible for  many, many swoon worthy male protagonists ( Beau, Cage and Dank- to name a few of my favourites) I  just had to pay tribute to Jax Stone. The sweet/clean version of Breathe was my very first Abbie Glines novel and got me hooked on her work, both sweet and sensual. I was initially apprehensive to read the sexed up version  of  Breathe, but I really enjoyed the addition of Jax’s perspective, and of course, Abbie’s trademark steam!

“I don’t want to beg or promise you things I can’t give you. There isn’t much of me to give, but what I have is yours. This is all up to you, Sadie. If you want me, I’m yours. If you can’t do this, then I’ll walk away and leave you alone. I swear.”
And just because I couldn’t decide between these quotes:
“He seems like a man who knows what he wants, and the problem is he wants what I want. If it were anything or anyone else, I could stand back and let him take it.” His blue eyes gazed back at me. “But I can’t let him have you.”
Breathe, Abbie Glines

You didn’t really believe that I would be able to narrow the list down to just five!

…Lucas
I Love Tammara Webber’s Easy. It is one of my favourite books and a real pick-me-up read. The electricity between Jacqueline and Lucas sizzles off of the page and Lucas, (oh dear lord, Lucas!) has some of the most swoon worthy, butterfly-in-stomach inducing lines. .
“So I don’t want you to feel pressured. Or overpowered. But I do, absolutely, want to kiss you right now. Badly.”
Easy, Tammara Webber

Wow that is one seriously hot list of lust, even if I do say so myself. Please excuse me while I scrap myself off of the floor.

About Caroline:
In addittion to blogging over at Big Book, Little Book and vlogging on the Bookish Brits YouTube channel, Caroline is the proud mum of two gorgeous wannabe vloggers aged six and four. She is in the fortunate position of being able to spend most of the week with her children and work part time for the NHS, in a job she adores.
Caroline’s natural habitat is snuggled up on the sofa immersed in a good book, usually Young Adult, or watching the latest American TV drama. Caroline’s favourite book is Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice, which she insists on re reading every couple of years, closely followed by The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. Caroline is currently recuperating from a broken heart after completing Cassandra Claire’s Infernal Devices trilogy. Her treatment includes large volumes of chocolate and The Lizzie Bennett Diaries. Her prognosis is good.
