My To-Be Read List is a meme hosted by Because Reading is Better Than Real Life where at the beginning of the month visitors can choose which book I’ll be reading this month. On the first saturday of a month the poll will be up, then on the second saturday of the month I’ll announce the book that won and on the last saturday of the month I’ll post my review of the book.
Okay below are are the 3 books on which you can vote this month, all 3 books are science-fiction books as I am in the mood for a sci-fi book. And that’s not the only theme this month, these 3 books are all standalones or the first book in a series and I own all of them in paperback. Now let the votign begin!

Blurb:
Few books are greeted with rave reviews everywhere from Time magazine and Salon to Boingboing and io9. Yet, Max Barry’s Lexicon is that rare thing: a thriller as high-octane as they come, driven by a brilliant and original plot that connects very modern questions of privacy and data collection to centuries-old ideas about the power of language. At an exclusive training school at an undisclosed location outside Washington, D.C., students are taught to control minds, to wield words as weapons. The very best graduate as “poets” and enter a nameless organization of unknown purpose. Recruited off the street, whip-smart Emily Ruff quickly learns the one key rule: never allow another person to truly know you. Emily becomes the school’s most talented prodigy, until she makes the catastrophic mistake of falling in love.
What’s Left of Me (The Hybrid Chronicles #1)
by Kat Zhang

Blurb:
I should not exist. But I do.Eva and Addie started out the same way as everyone else—two souls woven together in one body, taking turns controlling their movements as they learned how to walk, how to sing, how to dance. But as they grew, so did the worried whispers. Why aren’t they settling? Why isn’t one of them fading? The doctors ran tests, the neighbors shied away, and their parents begged for more time. Finally Addie was pronounced healthy and Eva was declared gone. Except, she wasn’t . . .
For the past three years, Eva has clung to the remnants of her life. Only Addie knows she’s still there, trapped inside their body. Then one day, they discover there may be a way for Eva to move again. The risks are unimaginable-hybrids are considered a threat to society, so if they are caught, Addie and Eva will be locked away with the others. And yet . . . for a chance to smile, to twirl, to speak, Eva will do anything.
Now it’s time to vote!
That is tough. These all look good and two are already on my own wish list. I have These Broken Stars on my pile to read too.

I agree they all sound good, but I can’t read them all this month, so I need help choosing ;).
I voted for These Broken Stars, because my stupid university books are keeping me from reading it, so I have to live vicariously. 😀

At this point it looks like These Broken Stars is going to win, although What’s left of Me also got a few votes and Lexicon only one so far.
Just like you I’ve had my eye on These Broken Stars since it was first released, but only got my copy a few months ago. I really want to read it.
Lola recently posted…Sunday Post #124
Ooooh These Broken Stars! That is one I MUST read, sooner than later, so I would love to see a review of it! Though, I also own What’s Left of Me, and would like to see a review on that as well… so really, this is tough! I did vote for These Broken Stars though, mainly because of the cover, if I am being completely honest 😉 Hope you enjoy whichever one wins/you read!
Shannon @ It Starts At Midnight recently posted…This Week At Midnight (59)
That cover is so stunning! It’s what got my attention to the book in the first place as well and if I can believe the hype it’s a good book as well. I also keep thinking I must read it soon. What’s left of Me is a book I pre-ordered as I loved the concept and then never got around to reading it and now the whole series is complete already.
So far it seems that These Broken Stars is goign to win, which I had expected to be honest 😉
Lola recently posted…Sunday Post #124
Hand down These Broken Stars. I didn’t even have to think about it, Lola. 🙂 I have TBS on my shelf waiting for me (thanks to Lexxie) and I hope it’s chosen and you love it every bit as much as I think I’m going to once I make it to reading it! 🙂

It sounds like a great book and a romance in space when stranded on an alien planet sounds like the type of book I would enjoy. And so many people seem to love this book, so I am really curious about this book. Glad to ehar it’s on your to-read list as well :). TBS got the most votes so far, so I think it will win.
I voted for These Broken Stars because I want to read that book too, lol. I can’t wait to see what you think of it if it wins the vote.

It’s going to win, I am pretty sure of that. It has 12 votes now I think while the next one only has 5 and the other only 1 vote. Everyone seems to know These Broken Stars and wants to read it as well, so that’s making me only more eager to read it!
I’m a little bit late but I had to chime in and vote for These Broken Stars 😉 I really fell in love with that one and I hope you do too 🙂

I voted for THESE BROKEN STARS! It’s the only one among the three that I absolutely enjoyed (I DNFed the other two), plus it has an awesome romance and an awesome, otherworldly story 😉

I think you’re the first person who voted that actually read all 3 books. Although the fact that you DNF’d the other two makes me a bit more hesistant to read them. I am pretty sure These Broken Stars is going to win :).
