MyTBRList

My To-Be Read List is a meme hosted by Because Reading is Better Than Real Life where at the beginning of the month visitors can choose which book I’ll be reading this month. On the first saturday of a month the poll will be up, then on the second saturday of the month I’ll announce the book that won and on the last saturday of the month I’ll post my review of the book.

I really think I made thigns too difficult this month, soon i ended up with a tie and my effort to try and end the tie just let to an almost three way tie. So let’s see how many votes each book got:
– Jaxson (River Pack Wolves #1) by Alisa Woods 7 votes/ 35,00%
– Collision (Alliance #3) by Emma L. Adams 6 votes/ 30,00%
– Dangerous Tide (Dolphin Shore Shifters #3) by C.J. Matthew 7 votes/ 35,00%

So which book will I read this month? Either Jaxson and/or Dangerous Tide. I’ll do my best to read both of them, but not sure if I can make it as my schedule for this month is crazy already. The one I read first will be posted on the review date and the other later.

Three brothers. Three Secrets. One hope to save the shifters of Seattle.
Former SEAL Jaxson River would give his life for his brothers and his pack, but if he doesn’t claim a mate soon, he’ll be forced to step down as their alpha. There’s only one problem: Jaxson’s dark secret would kill any mate he claimed. With someone kidnapping shifters off the street—and only Jaxson and his brothers, Jace and Jared, to stop them—now is not the time for his secret to come out.

Curvy Olivia Lilyfield is a half-witch orphan with a dark secret of her own. She wants to atone for it by doing good in the world, so when she finds a wolf being tortured in an alley, she doesn’t hesitate to help… even though wolves and witches mix like matches and TNT.

Olivia’s dangerous magic means she can’t let anyone get too close—but Jaxson can’t keep his hands off her, and his kisses are more than she can resist. As they race to save the disappearing shifters of Seattle, the true danger lies in loving each other. They’re playing with magical fire… and their secrets could end up destroying them both.

Jaxson is a complete novel with HEA, the first in the River Pack Wolves trilogy (Jace and Jared coming soon).

Contains scorching shifter sex, alpha military heroes, and sexy witches. Only readers over 18 should dive into the deliciously hot world of the River brothers.

    • I’ve been really curious about this author and snatched the whole spin-off series for a cheap price and decided I really should start this series.

The dolphin shifters series is such an unique concept and I enjoyed the first two books.

    • Yeah it was crazy how close it stayed the whole time. I haven’t decided yet which one to read first, have to finish my current read first.

    • I hope I can read them both this month, but I have a lot of review copies I need to read soon too, so that might be optimistic. I really want to read both of these!

  1. Both of the covers look similar girl so I had to end up looking at the both of them to see if they are a part of the same series! 🙂 It looks like you’re getting over your mystery kick for some good ‘ol romance! I’m getting back into the NA genre slow but surely since I had to take a break from it because, #TOOPREDICTABLE…

    • I had picked three orange covers for this one coincidentally. I am slowly waving to a more romance and fantasy mood lately. Although I am reading a mystery book on my ipad now and have another lined up for after that, so I am not out of my mystery mood either. And yes I know what you mean when you read too much of the same genre in a row it seems to get a bit predictable.

    • I have this plan to read the dolphin one on my Kobo and the other one on my ipad, but not sure if I can manage that as I have a lot of other books to read on either device.

    • You can still pick the three books, so that helps ;). It is a lot of fun to hear which book my readers are most looking forward to.

    • I think Jaxossn is the shortest, but I also have that one on my ipad, so maybe I can read that one on my ipad and the dolphin one on my Kobo and get both of them read. I don’t really have a big preference at the moment, hence why I let you all vote, lol ;).

    • I think this is the second or third time this happened. I hope I can read both of them, but will be happy if I can get one of them read.

    • I kept hoping someone would break the tie, but then I almost got a three way tie. I’ll do my best to read them both this month if possible! Hearing everyone get excited for these books, really makes me want to read them both!

    • I hope you’ll give this series a try, I would be curious to hear what you think of these! The dolphin shifters concept is so original and it’s a fun series so far!
