MyTBRList

My To-Be Read List is a meme hosted by Because Reading is Better Than Real Life where at the beginning of the month visitors can choose which book I’ll be reading this month. On the first saturday of a month the poll will be up, then on the second saturday of the month I’ll announce the book that won and on the last saturday of the month I’ll post my review of the book.

Okay below are are the 3 books on which you can vote this month. I picked a standalone, a second and a third book in the series. Three different genres and all books I recently acquired and hope to read soon. Happy voting!

When Earth suddenly gains inexplicably high levels of magic, all fingers point at the Alliance.

On a distant world, where magic-fuelled forces of nature rule over humans, a disaster is sweeping the land, threatening to knock the Balance across the Multiverse out of sync. When Kay and Ada are sent there with the other Ambassadors, they’re thrown into the centre of chaos. Nature is alive, and angry.

Ada embraces the magic she still half-fears, but learning to control it proves harder than she can imagine. Kay, meanwhile, becomes more reckless than ever when testing the boundaries of his own abilities. When faced with living magic, no one is safe from its influence. Ada and Kay must choose what they’re willing to risk for the sake of saving a world that might already be doomed. Can mortals overcome the gods?

Luke Boone doesn’t know exactly what his uncle Rust is involved in but he wants in on it-the cars, the money, the women. And it looks like he’s finally getting his wish. When Rust hands him the managerial keys to the garage, they come with a second set—one that opens up the door to tons of cash and opportunity. Though it’s not exactly legal, Luke’s never been one to worry about that sort of thing. Especially when it puts him behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 and onto the radar of gorgeous socialite named Rain.

Clara Bertelli is at the top of her game—at only twenty-six years old, she’s one of the most successful undercover officers in the Washington D.C. major crime unit, and she’s just been handed a case that could catapult her career and expose one of the west coast’s most notorious car theft rings. But, in order to do it, she’ll need to go deep undercover as Rain Martines. Her target? The twenty-four-year old nephew of a key player who appears ready to follow in his uncle’s footsteps.

As Clara drifts deeper into the luxurious lifestyle of Rain, and further into the arms of her very attractive and charming target, the lines between right and wrong start to blur, making her wonder if she’ll be able to leave it all behind. Or if she’ll even want to.

Blurb:
Riley Vasquez is haunted by the brutal murder of the couple she was babysitting for.

Max Cross is suffering under the shadow of a life-altering diagnosis he doesn’t dare reveal.

The last thing either of them wants is to spend a weekend away at a therapy camp alongside five other teens with “issues.” But that’s exactly where they are when three masked men burst in to take the group hostage.

The building has no windows. The exits are sealed shut. Their phones are gone. And their captors are on a killing spree.

Riley and Max know that if they can’t get out, they’ll be next—but they’re about to discover that even escape doesn’t equal freedom.

I really enjoyed Burying Water and ever since I’ve been wanting to continue the series, but haven’t gotten around to starting the second book yet.
I love Kelley Armstrong her writing style and even though I am not a fan of scary books, I just have to read The Masked Truth.

I like your reasoning ;). I am big fan of Kelley Armstrong her books, so I hope I’ll enjoy The Masked Truth. Although it’s a genre I don’t read normally, so I am also a bit hesistant to start it for that reason

I read the first book in this series already and really enjoyed it, so I am looking forward to continue the series soon!

Same here I am horrible at finishing series. Although Collision isn’t the last book I think the series will be 5 books long, but I try to keep up with this one so I don’t fall behind. The author writes really fast, so if I don’t keep up I’ll fall behind very fast.

I think the whole undercover aspect sounds very interesting and believable. I can’t wait to read this one!

That’s why I am glad to have you all help me decide, they all sound like good ones. I love the cover for Collision, it’s so pretty and the first two books in the series were good, so I am pretty sure Collision will be a good one too.
