100 GFC Followers Giveaway!

Yay! I reached 100 GFC followers on my blog!
7 December 2012 I started this blog. And yesterday I reached 100 GFC followers giveaway, so I decided it is time for a giveaway!

Since I started this blog I already have come a long way. I have made 77 posts on this blog, I manage to post often 6 of the 7 days. 75 people liked my blog page on Facebook and I already have 165 followers on Twitter. I am so gratefull for everyone who helped, followed me, stopped by my blog or in any other way helped me. I really love blogging and I hope my blog will continue to grow.

Okay enough about my blog, more about the giveaway! While I am sure everyone loves giveaways I always prefer giveaways in which there is some sort of restriction to which prize you can win, not sure if I am the only one who thinks like this or not, but when I see a giveaway and have the chance to win one of the 10 books a blog listed I think this is nicer than just choose a book of under 10 dollar from The Bookdepository. But sometimes a restricting can make sure that for some people there isn’t something the like. So I came up with a new idea, the winner can choose a book, but it must start with the letter L (because my blog starts with the letter L).
Also the winner can choose if he/she wants an e-book or paperback or hardcover as long as it’s from one of these sites: http://thebookdepository.co.uk, http://kobobooks.com or http://smashwords.com. Also for the prize I choose the restriction of 10 euro, that is 8,70 pond and 13 dollar if the exchange rate site I used is right. Pre-orderes are also allowed.

So choosing a book that start with the letter L may sounds difficult, but there actually are lots of books that start with the letter L. Also if you know some awesome books that start with the letter L, please leave a comment. To give you some idea of which books you can choose, here are some books I have read or want to read that start with the letter L.

So what are waiting for? Go and enter the giveaway!

I haven’t read Legend yet, but it is on my to-read list. And Last Sacrifice was awesome, I love the Vampire Academy series!

Seriously – it’s too stinkin’ early to think this hard! I’m sure if I win, though, I can think of one. 😉

Congrats on hitting that 100 mark & I hope you gain tons more!

    • Lola R

      Thanks!

When I first came up with the idea I thought it might be too difficult to come up with books with the letter L and even thought about including another letter, than I went to goodreads and found out how many books there actually are that start with an ‘L’

  2. Krista

Legend and Losing It are two ‘L’ books on my TBR list that you already mentioned. Also on my list is Lover at Last, and Leaving Paradise. Thanks, Lolita!

Congrats on 100 followers, Lolita! I have Legend and I really need to read it, and of course I enjoyed Living with the Dead and Living Dead in Dallas. An L book on my wishlist is Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey. Let’s see, I really like…The Lions of Al-Rassan, Lion of Senet, The Lightning Thief, A Local Habitation, Looking for Alibrandi, Lord of Misrule, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Lies of Locke Lamora, Legion, Late Eclipses, Last Sacrifice, Lament — did you know that you can sort your bookshelf alphabetically? It’s a very helpful feature 😉

    • Lola R

Yeah I also sorted my bookshelf on Goodreads, that’s how I found all those books that start with an L that I have read or are on my to-read list. You have quite a lot books that start with an L too!

  4. Sonnie @ ParaDays

Ohh I like this idea Lolita! Good one! Hmm let’s see…

“Lola and the Boy Next Door”
    “Lament”
    “Lion of Ireland”

Congrats on 100 followers (especially in such a short time!)

    • Lola R

Indeed there actually are lots of books that start with an ‘L’. I am glad I managed to make some restrictions to which book to choose, but still leave enough space to choose.

  5. Ana Death Duarte

A classic: Loe in the time of cholera ^^

Me and my imaginary pony friend called Giny thank for the giveaway! <333

    • Lola R

I have never heard of that book, but good to know that there are even classics that start with the letter ‘L’.

    • Lola R

Nice one, I heard lots of people like that series. Maybe I should’ve mentioned that pre-orders are okay too.

    • Lola R

Thanks Emma :). I hope I accomplished making this giveaway a little bit more original than the usual giveaway.

    • Lola R

I still have to read a book by Julie Kagawa, I heard amazing things about both her series and I actually already own the Immortal Rules.

Legend has a really cool cover, but I have wanted to read Lies Beneath for a while now. Thanks so much for the great giveaway.

    • Lola R

I agree that the cover of Legend is nice, it’s simple but also well done. I have heard some good things about Lies Beneath, so I hope I will get the change to eventually read it.

    • Lola R

Thanks :)! I think that getting to 100 followers is one of the best milestones! It feels amazing to know that there are so many people who are interested in what I write here.

Congrats on all the followers! And thx for doing such a great giveaway 🙂 I have been wanting to check out Legend by Marie lu for a little while now. Good luck to everyone

    • Lola R

I am not sure if I can afford to do a giveaway at each extra 100 followers, but I just wanted to at least do a giveaway once I reached 100 followers.
I have been hearing great things about Legend!

  8. Katrina (athousand-lives)

Congrats on the followers, Lola! My mind is totally blanking on all the L books. I can only come up with two- Looking for Alaska and Lola and the Boy Next Door. There are heaps more and I’m totally gonna end up smacking myself in the head when the titles come pouring out later. Thanks for the giveaway!

    • Lola R

Well the easiest way is to sort your goodreads shelve on alphabetical order. Coming up with books with a L is realy difficult without help.
