The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
Another week of preparing for the move. I did a lot of packing boxes this week and made good progress. While my boyfriend and his father worked in the new house with preparing for painting and then started with the painting later in the week, they had lots of small things that didn’t quite go according to plan and they got a bit delayed because of that. We also took a day off on Tuesday as it was super warm and just spent a day relaxing as it was way too warm to do anything.
And once our house is warm it’s hard to get it cooler, so the rest of the week I had to do the packing while being way too warm. Then later in the week my period migraine started, but there was still so much to do so I had to keep on packing with a bad migraine and being way too warm. I am exhausted after this week, but I made a lot of good progress and I am hopeful I can get everything packed in time. Packing the books in previous weeks was way easier, now I have to fit things in boxes that don’t line up as neatly as books.
I still feel very stressed and anxious about the move. I just keep trying to stay focused on packing the boxes, but it’s hard to deal with my emotions.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: ADHD is Awesome by Penn and Kim Holderness
– Review: Unbury the Bones by Coyote J.M. Edwards
– Review: Legacy of Wings by Laura Greenwood
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Flooded Secrets by Claudie Arseneault
– Review: My Noisy Roommate by Kaho Ozaki
– Review: The Rebellious Fae’s Guide To Family Rivalries by Ariana Jade
A very stressful week for you both with things going wrong for him, your heat and headache, and the frustration of trying to get odd shapes into square boxes. Getting closer to done though and then you can collapse for a bit. Hopefully, the temperatures will cool down for you.
Have a good week, Lola!
It really was a stressful week. I look forward to collapsing for a bit once we moved. It did cool down a bit.
Thank you for the review of ADHD is Awesome. I don’t have ADHD but I have other issues where I don’t feel like I fit into this judgmental world. I appreciate your review. I hope you enjoy reading this next week.

I am autistic myself and I think I might have ADHD as well, so I like reading books about being neurodivergent and sharing my thoughts about them. It’s tough feeling like you don’t fit in.
Ugh, I hate the heat. That was me on Thursday while they were fixing my electrical issues. I tried to just lay around the house and not do much without the power meant no AC. I hope your new house Weill be better for not being too hot? Hopefully you’ll get to feeling better this week. Can’t wait to read your reviews of the books you got read this week.

It’s so hard to do anything when it’s so warm, here in the Netherlands not a lot of houses have AC, so when it gets warm it’s hard to keep the houses cool. Although I do see more houses with AC’s in the past few years. The new house should be cooler, it’s cooler there now than it is here and that is without any curtains there.
Moving can be stressful. Take your time. I hate moving, the heat doesn’t make it any easier.
Moving really is stressful, I just hope things calm down once we moved.
I’m glad you were able to get things done. I hope you feel much better this week.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Sadly this week was more of the same, still stressful, just with some slightly cooler weather.
