The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week had it’s ups and downs. This week started with me feeling a bit stressed and my mental state wasn’t as good due to having a migraine last week and knowing another one would hit me later this week.
We had planned to go mini golfing somewhere close by and we had fun despite not everything going smoothly. Then later in the week I got my period migraine, which was a pain after already having another migraine last week as well. At least this one I can predict so I managed to get some smaller tasks done before it hit, so I could relax more during the migraine.
I got some new work tasks from one of the authors I work for, three new books to prooflisten, which is one of my favorite work tasks to do. I already started on the first one and managed to get through quite a bit as I actually could do that while on my migraine. I did some other smaller tasks as well before my migraine hit and it was good to get some of those things done.
I managed to finish a new discussion type blog post for early February. I also scheduled some reviews as I had fallen behind on that, although I did keep up with writing them at least, so I just had to schedule them on my blog.
What did I read this week?
The first three books were all 4 star reads and by authors I already knew. It was fun to finally get Maeve and the Captain’s story in Star Cruise Captain’s Story.
Spell Bound was the second book I tried by F.T. Lukens and I really enjoyed it.
And Rite Of Blood And Patience is the fourth book in Laura Greenwood’s vampire romantasy series and it’s really good.
Doll Girl Meets Dead Guy was my first re-read of the year and this is the third time I re-read this book, I just love this story and enjoyed it just as much the fourth time reading it now.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: A Drop of Fortune by Danielle Garrett
– Review: Ancient Nightcap And That’s A Wrap by Laura Greenwood
– Review: Ghosts of the Catacombs by Janna Ruth
I enjoyed Spellbound too by that author! I’m behind on reviews from having to go back to work and not being able to get onto some blog sites there when I’ve had a few minutes to check. I was supposed to go play an indoor mini-golf with a friend the week of Christmas, but then her mom got sick, and she was supposed to go with us, so we didn’t end up going. Here’s hoping you have a better week!

I remember you mentioning how much you enjoyed Spell Bound, I am glad I read it as it was a great one. It’s hard to keep up with writing reviews. I hope you can get to reschedule the indoor mini-golf, the mini-golf we did was indoor as well.
I like being able to schedule a bunch of posts for my blog in case something comes up and I don’t have time to do it at the time. Sorry to hear you had another migraine.
Same here, I like to schedule things ahead so I can dot it when I have time and not worry about it when things pop up. The migraine was a pain :(.
Yeah, those migraines are no joke, but glad you could prepare ahead for this one. Fun reading week with four four-stars and glad you got some work that was a job you enjoy.
Have a good week, Lola!
It’s much easier if I can prepare for the migraine at least. I am glad it was a good reading and work week 🙂
I’m sorry about the migraines. You seemed to get a lot done anyway.

I am kinda surprised at what I managed to get done despite the migraine.
Migraines suck! I hope this week is migraine free. Doll Girl and Dead Guy–l love the cover, nice to know it’s a great book too!
I hope so too, I could do with a migraine free week. I love Doll Girl Meets Dead Guy and was glad I got to re-read it again.
